Makes bills one less thing to worry about!
Thank you Healthy Paws!!!! Our 1 yr old pup was suffering from some sort of tummy pain (later determined as HGE).. Was not eating well for a couple of days, before starting to throw up blood... We had to rush her into emergency as our regular vet had a power outage. The bill estimate came out to me more than $1.5k. If I did not have HP, I would have struggled to make the payment. We had our dog in emergency care for a day and medication the past week and she has recovered great! I used the Healthy Paws app to submit the claims (super easy!), and within 2 days, all claims were completed. Other than helping me give my pup the best care required, they also sent me a follow up email to ensure she was doing good. This is what customer service should be all about. This is what a customer first company should feel like. Thanks Healthy Paws!!

Very happy with Embrace
Nicky has some health problems; one in particular we are still trying to clear up. Embrace has been very fair and helps to take away the pressure of my ill dog who is like my third child. Costs are high and they help to pay for these expenses. I would highly recommend Embrace for anyone's pet health insurance.

Easiest insurance process I've ever been through
I signed up for Healthy Paws 2 years ago at a friend's recommendation. He had been through a claims process and said it was easy. I needed insurance so I thought, why not? Boy am I glad I did! Recently we had to use our insurance for my dog's broken tooth. The claim was processed within a few days. As it was the first claim, it required his medical records but his dr's office faxed it directly with no issues. I'm expecting a check any day in the mail. Pain free and seamless. Healthy Paws even emailed to check in on my dog! I am highly impressed.

Takes far too long
This company takes far too long in refunding a claim. And they have the nerve at certain times to year to excuse themselves by saying its "a high volume time" for processing. I pay these people 80 bucks a month for basic illness coverage and 20 days to get a re-imbursement is complete bullshit. Manulife, which is one of the worst human providers of all time, can have my claim back to me inside of week. These people have no excuse.

Love this company!
I have had Trupanion coverage since my dog was 8 weeks old. Her first year was a busy claim year, but she has had relatively few claims during the succeeding 5 1/2 years. With every claim, however, including one that I had questions on, the staff were professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. If I questioned 'why?' on something, they checked into it and gave me an answer. I have tried to make sure I know what is covered and what is not and I have my policy in my pet's file so I can reference it, if needed. I just filed another little claim late last month and I have already received the coverage check. I have NEVER had a problem that couldn't be reasonably resolved. I have recommended this company to many, many people over the past years and I will continue to do so. I only wish I had been wise enough to get Trupanion coverage for my other dogs in the past.
