you guys are awesome

everytime I send in a claim I wonder if it will be covered. My dog LIttle Star is on meds for probably the rest of her life. Thank God it is a manageable disease with treatment. I have never been denied claims yet. What a greay pet insurance company. Hats off to Laura Bennet and your entire staff. You all are a godsend

It's worthwhile

I have an eight and a half year old lab mix. She tore both ACL's and had three surgeries before she was 4 years old. Without pet insurance I would still be paying back what I owed. The only drawback is if your pet comes down with an ailment in your coverage year, and the ailment returns after your policy renews, your pet is no longer covered unless your pet is "cured" for 180 days. That is the only reason why I will not rate this service a perfect 10.

It's a winner!

I've been delighted with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. I have a large pitbull mix named Waldo, who had needed veterinary care a number of times in the last year. Unfortunately, we had to change vets three times before finding one that was a good fit for Waldo. Since his medical history is sparse, I wasn't aware that he has adverse reactions to many drugs, as well as a very sensitive stomach. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has been great, covered all Waldo's care according to the plan I purchased and called to follow up each claim to see how he was doing and if everything was okay. Payment was made quickly and no questions, even though the changing of vets and treatment for reaction to medications must have seemed confusing. My mother has pet insurance through another company and her experience with them has been a nightmare, with claims always rejected or questioned and every attempt made to minimize payouts. She's about to get with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance instead. I would recommend them without reservation. Two thumbs up!

Care about your pets health and there to help!

Amazing customer service....fast,efficient and always follow up to see how pet is doing. Have had two critical care episodes with my baby and having this help made it so much more able for me to focus on my pet and not worry as much about amount of vet fees. They are so awesome, so happy I took this ins. Had it about 51/2 yrs.

Repeated frustration over rejected claims

We have submitted a number of claims for our dog Tully for prescription drugs to treat his osteoarthritis and they have been rejected by the reviewer saying that "rheumatoid arthritis" is not a covered claim for our dog. Our vet has written Embrace saying that our dog has never had rheumatoid arthritis and that osteoarthritis is not rheumatoid arthritis but to no avail. We are wondering whether the reviewers ever check documentation for former claims where they would see our vet's comments. Very frustrating to say the least. Other than this recurring issue that has defied all efforts to resolve, we are very pleased with our Embrace coverage and service.

I can focus on my pup-not worry about sudden costs

I've been very skeptical about pet insurance, having heard about some experiences with other companies that refused to cover pets after being a member for years or refusing to cover major surgeries/illnesses etc. After enough surprise vet expenses over the years, I decided to give this a try. I only signed up for Healthy Paws a few months ago, but I have had a positive experience so far. --First of all, it was easy to sign up. Painless. --Healthy Paws is completely up front with what they do and do not cover. --They process claims quickly, which is more than I can say for any human health insurance that I've had. --Submitting claims is EASY through their app (take a picture of vet's invoice - DONE!). --I have boxers, which are unfortunately prone to cancer. The vet recently diagnosed a mast cell tumor, and we had to schedule a sudden expensive surgery. Based on experiences with human health insurance, I was expecting to have to fight them about justifying the expense or spend a lot of time haggling on the phone or submitting paperwork. BUT Healthy Paws gave me absolutely no trouble about covering the procedure exactly as they had promised. It meant that I could focus on actually taking care of my pup rather than stressing about the cost.
