So happy I chose Healthy Paws!
I researched many pet plans before I chose Healthy Paws for my new puppy. Of course, I thought I wouldn't need it until she got much older. Well she just had to have major elbow surgery and having Healthy Paws has been great! The claims process is so easy, and they paid all her claims in a timely manner. I will recommend them to friends and family, and now have piece of mind in case anything else happens.

What a fabulous experience
Our vet recommended Trupanion to us at our first clinic visit when our labradoodle was just 8 weeks old. At 8 months old we found he was a true "Rock Hound" and has been gobbling up stones at the day-play-center which required surgery. Within three weeks of surgery a check was in hand with no questions asked. Without surgery, our big guy would have surely died. What a great company!

Fast claim turnaround and great customer service
Had an emergency with my dog throwing up with blood present. This claim is the result of being sent to a second emergency facility because the first one did not have a surgeon available for possible obstruction (per x-ray). After overnight stay and observation at second ER, another x-ray taken and no blockage. This was the best conservative approach other than more expensive radiography and exploratory surgery. Embrace quickly processed my claim for the second ER and waiting on claim from first ER. Always great customer service during emails and phone correspondence. Thank you!

Always there when we need them most
Our older lab began severely limping a few weeks ago, and it turned out she tore her ACL. We knew going in to the surgery that it would be expensive, and I can't tell you how many times we've told people how fortunate we are to have Healthy Paws insurance. Every time, claims are processed extremely quickly, and there are never any surprises or gotchas. Their straight-forward approach to insurance has given us tremendous peace of mind.

Our great Pyrenees tore her ACL joint just running in the yard! I called the customer service and she was so helpful and pleasant. So walked me through the process on how to submit the claim. It was so easy and before I knew it the claim was approved and the money was deposited into my checking account! Lucy had to have surgery and her bill was over $4,000! Thank goodness we had insurance with Pet Best because we received $2,500 back!

Excellent - from nose to tail
Embrace is an insurance company that acts like a small family run company that actually cares about its clients. Their policies are great (I have 90% reimbursement, and it really does cover everything it says it does, including behavioral issues), and their customer service is stellar. Over the three years I've had an Embrace plan, I've submitted a bunch of claims, from injuries to anxiety, all over the country, with all different types of vets. Never once has there been a problem. Actually, the biggest problem I've had is in getting vets' offices to submit claims.I'm usually issued a check within 1-2 days of Embrace's receiving the claim. If there are any issues (which is unusual), they're incredibly easy to call and talk to. All claims are clearly shown on your account page, with the status. The one disputed claim I had was my fault - I submitted it well past the deadline. But I called, and they were very understanding and honored the claim anyways. I recommend Embrace to every pet owner I know, and I've placed flyers in my vet's office! I've heard a lot of horror stories about other pet insurance companies, but this is legit.
