Definitely the best pet insurance for your Pets!

My dog Pumpkin became ill and was having a reaction to something which was making his stomach and chest cavity fill up with fluid. The VCA Animal hospital emergency visit determined that the fluid needed to be drained and he needed testing to determine the cause. After many different tests for cancer, parasite, liver, pancreas, digestive system and many others there was no diagnosis. I had purchased another pet insurance for Pumpkin as a puppy and continued the coverage although I also have the ASPCA Pet insurance. The doctors determined the only way to find out what was going on was to do exploratory surgery, where Pumpkin was under anesthesia for the 2 hour surgery which was very invasive. Tissue samples around the protective sack around the heart were taken and tested along with many other samples. The determination was that a rare bacteria infection caused a reaction within his digestive tract and inside his body to secrete fluid. During his recovery in the hospital for 4 days he was treated with antibiotics and after he was released treated with antibiotics for 2 months. He has fully recovered I am happy to say. He is a 10 year old Golden Retriever therapy dog. The other insurance only covered $3500. and nothing else, stating that is was the liver which was initially tested, and only covered that occurrence, and that was before a diagnosis was reached. I filed a review to see if they would reverse it and they die not. If it were not for Pumpkins ASPCA policy, I would have paid over $28,000.00 in bills. The ASPCA insurance covered much of the expenses and their customer service followed up to see how Pumpkin was doing and if I were pleased with the insurance. They were wonderful to work with during Pumpkin's illness and I would recommend everyone consider ASPCA insurance before any other Pet insurance! Thank you ASPCA!

Waste of money

I was with Trupanion for 4 years, submitted approximately $1000 worth of vet expenses and only received $10 back. On my fourth anniversary they increased my bill by $100 a year, when I called to inquire about the increase they advised it was due to vet costs and expenses - however, during the call one of the several agents I spoke with informed me that 35% of their clients did receive a reduction. My question to the manager is why an account that has only ever received $10 in reimbursements is experiencing an increase and other people are getting a decrease. To which they had no satisfactory answer, saying each area is reviewed annually - and some go up and some go down.

I know I can rely on Embrace

I would highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance to all pet owners. They have covered two unforeseen surgeries for my now 1 year old Rottweiler/Doberman with efficiency and ease. Their system is so simple to navigate and customer service is great.

Best decision I have made for my dog

I have a Beagle, and after she was mysteriously ill and hospitalized for three days, I decided it was time to stop taking chances and finally get pet insurance. It has been the best decision I have made for her. The claims are processed quickly, they follow up to make sure everything is ok, and it's easy to submit the bills. I would highly recommend this service to anyone with a four legged family member!

So glad to have insurance

I have had a lot of dogs and this is the first time that I purchased insurance. After eating something toxic her body started shutting down. The bill was a little over 600.00 and they covered all of it less the deductable. There was a little problem communicating between the company and the Dr. but they were diligent about working it out quickly. Great customer service.

Good company

I have had Embrace for 2 years and I am very happy with their service. Most reimbursements are fast and deposited into my bank account. My one complaint is: My dog is 12 years old and the renewal increase was over $100 per year. That was over 100% increase, when the advertise 8-10% annual. If you have a pet, I would still recommend Embrace insurance.

you guys are awesome!

I have never been with a company that is so fast friendly and reliable. My best friend Little Star could not have a better insurance company on her side. The photo contest you are running now Is pretty cool also. My companion has already received votes. Keep up the great job!

Quick, excellent service

My dog needed surgery for glaucoma and lens subluxation in both eyes (two separate surgeries). I checked with Healthy Paws multiple times as the case developed to ensure that the surgeries would be covered, and in every interaction, Healthy Paws staff were efficient, helpful, and reassuring. My claim was processed swiftly and I received a reimbursement check in the mail a few days later. The small premium I pay Healthy Paws each month has proved to be more than worth it in terms of my pet's health and my own peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Every condition will be a pre-existing condition.

We have since left Nationwide since we were told today that no surgery coverage takes effect for 1 year from policy purchase date. So anything that happened to our puppy in the furst year is deemed pre-existing and won't be covered. They denied our initial claim for a dislocation in his front leg from a fall because he was previously seen by a vet for a dislocation of his hind leg that occured while he was running through a field. Basically they will collect our premiums and deny all our claims. No thank you.

Amazing!

Nothing but amazing things to say about this company. Stay away from providers that cap payouts. If you love you furry friends then HealthyPaws is an awesome choice. We have had major surgeries and emergencies for both our dogs and have received nothing but fast, friendly and carefree dealings.
