I am so glad that when I brought my puppy home that I enrolled her for ASPCA pet insurance. She is now almost 3 and I still have her enrolled in the insurance they are very helpful and seem to really care about Milli's health, they will call after a claim is filed just to check on her condition and make sure she is getting better.

Love Sadie's Coverage
Sadie has been covered with ASPCA Pet Insurance since she was 12 weeks old, and here we are 9 years later and counting. The process of submitting a claim has really been simplified over the years, so now it is just an easy electronic submission at the Member Center of the ASPCA Pet Insurance website. There, I can also check on the status of the claim, and I set it up to have the money directly wired into my account--so convenient. The premiums have risen slightly over the years, but they are willing to work with you on that. They have covered a variety of ailments from antibiotics to eye surgery all within reason where I get a lot of her medical services very highly reimbursed. Very easy to work with and great at care and coverage. The dreaded comment "19" of a service being too high for my area code is my only complaint! :) Overall, a lovely company and I am so glad that Sadie is in their care.

After 6 years the insurance was essential.
We had insurance for six years without using it. Suddenly our dog had serious issues and the insurance was needed and see. I submitted everything at once which slowed down the process but we are thankful we had it.

When I called to see if Trupanion received it, the rep couldn't tell me because she said it takes a couple of days, to call back. I did call back and it was never received. The second time I called, the gentleman was able to be very helpful.

I think the increase in rate is exorbitant and am concerned that it will be just as much every year, by which time your pet will be uninsurable with another company.

So my payment method got screwed around.
So my payment method got screwed around. You also took money out when I wasnt expecting and I got an NSF fee because of it. I also asked that payments come out on the 1st; called several times to confirm. August 2nd no payment? Had to call back in to resolve the issue once again.

The woman that helped me was amazing.
The woman that helped me was amazing. As a previous Supervisor please give her a raise. Other representatives lately when I tried to refer a friend referred to our pets as property and made a connection to our pets and auto/insurance policies. My family owns a well known insurance company. I am disgusted. That is the only reason I would rate not referring trupanion. This kind woman did not do that. I would refer my friends to her. No one else.

We already have a dog insured with Trupanion so was looking for a quote to add new puppy of same breed.
We already have a dog insured with Trupanion so was looking for a quote to add new puppy of same breed.The breeder offered 6 weeks coverage under other pet insurance plan and they had sent a quote. Reached out to Trupanion to coordinate start of coverage. And advised to call back just before terminatuon of puppy coverage. I was also told that our vet could provide a certificate to waive waiting period but that this must be used in 24hrs. No effort ro assist to coordinate coverage. Also a small discount would be helpful for a second pet. Have been a Trupanion customer for ovee 8yrs.

The invoice was processed incorrectly the first time. If the person was "new/inexperienced" it should have been reviewed prior to final processing. I appreciated the person I spoke with resolving it immediately.
