Disbelief!
This was my first claim. After filing, I received an ambiguous e-mail saying "one or more" of the veterinarians who had treated my dog had failed to provide information pertaining to one or more of his visits. Total lack of specifics. I had to guess what was missing. I sent them an e-mail explaining that he was a rescue, and that I had previously given them everything I had on him, and would they please let me know what else they needed. They failed to respond. Instead, they CLOSED my claim for lack of information. I got it re-opened. I sent them his "kennel card" from the shelter. They told me that should be sufficient. Again, they CLOSED the claim, rather than following up with me. Spent a total of over an hour on the phone trying to get this resolved. Finally did. The problem? "Customer Service" is attempting to handle claims-related questions. It seems that they are screening the calls, rather than sending ALL claims-related questions to the CLAIMS department. Once I finally got to speak to the claims department, things started going more smoothly.

We've had healthy paws pet insurance for 3 years on our Miniature Schnauzer and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We've been fortunate enough not to have needed to make any claims until only recently when our mini schnauzer, August, randomly and unexpectedly had 3 seizures within 12 hours. As one can expect, we were very worried and thought the worst. We took him to the emergency vet to see a neurologist and it was recommended that blood work, X-rays, and an MRI be done to determine and/or narrow the diagnosis. Thankfully we had pet insurance and submitted the claim after having to keep August overnight at the vet. After the many tests, the vet determined that August has epilepsy and that his seizures are something we may simply have to deal with and manage on a going forward basis. We thereafter submitted our claim. Healthy Paws was very attentive and responsive and made sure the necessary paperwork to process the claim was provided by the vet. We received our reimbursement check in less than 2 weeks from the time we submitted the claim. We also received a follow up email checking in on August and his recovery. Healthy Paws has been a very good resource and support during this difficult time and I highly recommend them.

Based on my experience with Healthy Paws I have to say it is in fact the best insurance you can ever find.After calling other companies I ended up with the #1 rated because Healthy Paws is the only pet insurance company that offers unlimited lifetime benefits with an annual deductible. They covered the cancer treatment for Blacky a German shepherd and that was the moment of truth. They sent me a check for over $6,000 and recently a Hernia Surgery for my Ruby a dachshund mix. The mobile app is the best and fast way to do claims without forms.They pay based on your actual veterinary bill and basically lifetime limits for clains. Very affordable. I strongly recommend them I am 100% sure you won't regret

Healthy Paws has been a blessing. they have been not only dependable but supportive in the healing of our precious pet. Our chiwini juat had disc surgery and they covered almost everything including his physical therapy which we have learned is imperative for a good result. I will continue to recommend them to every pet owner I come in contact with. I realize that without this insurance many people would not be able to help their beloved pets.

After submitting a claim, I get notified immediately after Pets Best receives it. They send an e-mail that they are processing. Not long after I receive EOB and payment. I am very happy with this insurance and will use on my next pooch. Chloe has had her share of problems, Pets Best helped me through them.

Our kitty came to us as a stray ten years ago. Thinking that she might need health care we soon signed up with Pets Best, and not knowing how old she was, we signed her up as a senior. Well that turned out to be a smart move for us because our poor kitty has had a lot of different and very very expensive illnesses over the years and she still suffers from some of them. Nevertheless, Pets Best has never dropped our insurance for her and even helped us change her policy over the year to keep her insured. This year they reimbursed us over $3,000 for a $4,000 ear cancer surgery. And even though we had raised the deductible to $1,000, they told us that the surgery would be covered under our $250 deductible policy because the first symptoms of that cancer had appeared when we had a better policy with them.
