Worst Insurance Provider Out There
I work in the veterinary industry and regularly steer my clients AWAY from this company. They have terrible customer service, continually penalize clients for submitting claims by reducing co-insurance or increasing deductibles. Its almost criminal because once you've signed up and had a claim you are stuck with them, and they know you wont be able to go elsewhere and get coverage because of "pre-existing conditions". Do your research! Stay away!!!!

They won't be there when you need them!
I have had Embrace for about a year on my 7 year old lab. When I initially started my plan I had a vet visit to confirm my dog had no issues such as hip and joint problems. She did not. She did have a bump on her front upper body area that when I first noticed I took her to two different vets and was told it was cosmetic so no need to remove or test. In fact on the Embrace Vet Check the doctor noted it so Embrace was aware of it. Recently she developed a growth on her muzzle and the doctor suggested removal and to screen to make sure it wasn't anything more serious. As she was going to be under anesthesia I elected to have her teeth cleaned and also remove the previous bump even though it was cosmetic and not hurting anything. Now, I knew the entire incident would not be covered because it did not meet the financial requirements but being that I was new to Embrace and how they worked I went ahead and uploaded my paperwork just to get a feel of how the process worked. The growth on her muzzle came back as benign but had it not I assume I would have been covered had it turned into something bigger and additional treatment was needed. Imagine my surprise when I get a letter stating that all future growths will not be covered because the one that they were previously aware of that was deemed cosmetic by two previous vets was not tested. Obviously, if my doctors had said remove and test it a year ago I would have but they saw no need. At this point I am just grateful I found out what a poor company they were before I needed them for something serious.

Great insurance
If you have a pet, you need Embrace. I've had other insurance in the past, but they didn't measure up to Embrace. Their coverage is complete, their staff is compassionate and competent.

Disappointed
Premium dollars do nothing but fill the coffers of the Company. Every chance they have to not pay a claim is taken. I will do everything in my power to expose this scam.

Healthy Paws is the best!
I was never sure how I felt about health insurance for my dog - like was it really worth it and would they come through for you when you needed them most. I signed up my chocolate lab with Healthy Paws back in late 2015 and I have to say, it's seriously one of the best things I have done as a dog owner. Healthy Paws is so easy to work with and they truly have kept their word with no fine print to surprise you with any unfortunate "policies". My dog just had knee surgery (TPLO) and I am once again reminded of how good of move it was for me to sign up with them. Their customer service is excellent, and submitting claims is super easy and can be done right from a smart phone. I did a lot of research and I have to say I really think Healthy Paws is the best out there.

Horrible thieves
After paying for a year and my dog being healthy and needed a treaty cleaning and then a growth appeared on her thyroid and needed surgery we processed a claim and of course they required a full medical history from birth and found nothing wrong but made up that it was not covered and that I should have taken her sooner even thought I take her regularly to her vet they are the worse thieves all they want is your money.

The Blue Chip of the Pet Insurance World
My dog is alive thanks to these folks. Eight years after rescuing my dog from a neglected environment, he had a serious leg injury during an ice storm that made him almost unable to walk. The emergency room and initial treatment bills were onerous, and we had to put him on intensive physical therapy. And as well, he's needed continuing pain medication and therapy as needed. ASPCA came through marvelously. I wish most people insurance plans were as good and as effective.

Very happy so far!
When we got our puppy we made the decision to get her insurance coverage, including wellness coverage. So while she is young and does not have any major issues (knock on wood!), I just submitted her check-up and the process is super simple, fast, and my claim was reviewed and approved quickly. Anyone I have dealt with is friendly. I happen to prefer electronic communication and even that has seemed very personal and friendly.

Great service
My 6-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog had a mass on her spleen. She had to have her spleen removed, along with a liver biopsy and gastropexy. We weren't expecting the surgery to happen on the day that it did, but we were able to call Embrace and get a pre-authorization pushed through quickly. During the surgery, the surgeon found another mass that needed to be removed. He sent all three tissues for biopsies, and they all came back benign. Thankfully we had Embrace to help us cover these costs. Now we never again have to worry about Ruby developing a splenic mass!

Glad that I purchased it!
I have a great Chocolate lab, and I had the Embrace policy for 7 years without filing a claim. This year, however, My guy has had a rough time with laryngeal paralysis. Embrace has covered a good part of the medical care that has been required, and our lab has shown a good deal of improvement.I would highly recommend both pet insurance and embrace for all dog "parents".
