The response time for claims is great. My cat is on prescription food, so I submit claims every few months, reply time and reimbursement is fast, and I love that it is sent via Zelle.

the customer service is great
the customer service is great. the people try to help. the turnaround times, for a claim is rather long. took 30 days my last claim, for a blood test and stated what it was for on the receipt. even with meds now i get soap notes. the turnaround time way to long. i have called and checked said was fine. agents dealing with claims should know if something else is needed not making someone wait ten days/

Healthy Paws is the best insurance company for your dog. 10/10 fully recommend!
I've had Healthy Paws insurance since we adopted our dog, Brownie, when she was just two months old. She's been a healthy dog for the most part, but she already had to have two different surgeries (one to fix her incontinence and one knee surgery). I submitted the claims to Healthy Paws with not a lot of expectations, as the surgeries were expensive and we all know how insurance companies are always trying to not pay. Healthy Paws approved the claims in less than a week with no problem. They even send me emails asking how Brownie was doing after the surgeries!

My 5 year old staffy was dying of lymphoma, I put in a claim for all the test he needed, it took them a month to stop asking me for the same documents over and over, then my dog died, they denied my claim saying i didnt have that coverage, when I promise you, I did have it

Blessing's Knee Surgery
When I initially chose to enroll with Pets Best, I was uncertain about the extent to which the policy would cover a significant claim. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. My dog, Blessing, required an extensive and costly knee surgery. Despite the high expense, the procedure was necessary, so I decided to put the insurance to the test. To my relief, the claim process was smooth and efficient, and I was reimbursed for nearly the full amount, minus the applicable deductible and co-insurance. I encountered no issues throughout the process and found Pets Best to be reliable and responsive in a time of need.
