All was easy until it was time to set up my portal. It took 24 hours, and a live person helped me. I hate links; I like people. This is why I love dogs; they come with love, not links.

Revised review: We do recommend Spot (for now)
Spot pet insurance has taken over 2 months to reimburse for a neuter surgery. We have had countless interactions with outsourced customer service at Spot and no check has been received. We gave bank info to deposit in our account but they could not, for some reason, deposit so supposedly they sent a check: interesting they can take the money out monthly but cannot deposit! The website said successful bank info was entered. So they said they sent a check. We did not receive for a month so called and they cannot try to re deposit, they “have to mail it”. Still have not received. I wanted to believe they were a good company because of all the good reviews but our experience has been terrible. We will be finding a new company to insure our very healthy fur baby. Revised review: after working with very helpful people at Spot we finally received the check this Saturday. Hallelujah!! We will stay with spot hoping the next reimbursement goes better. I Confirmed we are on direct deposit. So I changed my review to 5 stars because they reached out and went above and beyond to help us get our check.

The rep I spoke to on the phone was very nice :) and knowledgeable. Obviously has a real heart for pets and wants to make sure pet owners rest easy knowing their fur babies are protected.

We got the insurance to help cover the care of our dog as we were in the process of getting him diagnosed. Well he had developed luxating patellas/dislocated knees to due genetics apparently, and instead of helping it got labeled as PRE-EXISTING and we got zero coverage. A cheap tactic to bait and switch people into trying this insurance. Edit: My opinion stands. His diagnosis was listed in the coverage this insurance supposedly covers and the waiting period was suppose to be waved due to the offer we were given through our vet that we used to sign up for this insurance. Classic bait and switch.
