Fraud

I received a renewal notice on February 24, 2024. I responded with; "Please cancel this policy at expiration on 4/30/2024". They didn't cancel the policy and debited my card for the premium. I forgot about and believed it was cancelled but they debited my card again for a 2025 premium. When I called to discuss, they said the renewal notice comes from a "do not reply" email address and they were sorry but couldn't help me. The email did not say "do not reply". I asked how I was supposed to know it was a do not reply email and the representative said she didn't know, but that's the way it is. THIS IS FRAUD and anyone working for this company should consider other employment with a company that is fair, honest and forthcoming. Many have trouble with claims and I can certainly understand why. This is a deceitful company!

Excellent pet insurance

I am so glad that I chose healthy paws for my dogs insurance. My poor pup had cancer with 2 required surgeries. Thank goodness we had great insurance. Reimbursement is very fast and fair. This company goes above and beyond caring for their customers and pets! I highly recommend Healthy Paws insurance to everyone.

Quick and easy claims

My dog recently had to have eye surgery. The vet was able to put through the claim, and it was processed and approved very quickly - really helping to ease the stress of the situation. I was then able to submit supplemental claims for related vet visits prior to the surgery, and they were also approved quickly with no questions asked. Very satisfied with my first claim experience.

stay away from this insurance

I have been with this insurance for two years. I made 3 claims , 3 of them which i paid from my own pocket because my deductible was 200$ and they myst get sick more than once and then you are fully covered as long you pass that 200$ deductible. there is an increase in price i started 2 years ago at 40$ now i am at 78$. they will not listen to your concerns or any request. They will have any excuses or an argument for a price increase. In my case they said vet cost through the year and that is depends on the amount of dogs of the same breed in my area who goes to the vet. I just spoke to the receptionist at the vet when I picked nexguard for my dog she said that is just an excuse for them to raise the price, they say unlimited but there is a catch STAY AWAY FROM TRUPANION LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

150% premium increase without old policy

I used to suggest Embrace to all my friends. Not anymore. They’ve increased my premium from roughly $760 per year for two cats ( 1k deductible, 90% with 15k max payout) to $2000 per year. My cat’s age one is 7 the other is 8. Inflation is their only reason. I can only lower my deductible %. I have no choice but try to keep up. This pet premium is the least payout and its even more than my mortgage insurance per year. I am stuck here. If I switch or up my plan all previous claim will become pre existing condition. This is unethical. On the other hand I do love their customer service but this is unbelievable.

Pet’s Best IS the best!

When I was researching insurance for my new dog a few years ago I decided to choose Pet’s Best and am so glad I did! I thought the coverage options I could choose to carry that could include more than the average services and reimbursement % were really affordable. When I had to use the insurance and needed to put in for a claim, I had to upload documentation to the company for reimbursement thru their app (which is awesome!) on my phone and found it to be a very easy process! The communication you receive from them lets you know what’s going on with your claim and where it stands from start to finish. You don’t have to remind yourself you need to look into it what’s going on which is so nice! I highly recommend Pet’s Best! This is my first time having pet insurance and I couldn’t be happier with this company!

What has happened to this company?

I am an older person. I have used your insurance for 3 generations of dogs. Never a problem until now. Now your company is less friendly in the way you handle claims. I don’t own a working printer. This means, I couldn’t use the claim form on your web site. WHY do you not allow me to fill out the form on line and send it.. This poor management for what has always been a good and thoughtful company. IT also meant that the person who worked with me also emailed the form to me to fill out. Again, I don’t havre a printer. I can’t use those forms. And why didn’t you train your customer service person offer a printed copy of your claim. So all I mailed to you was the invoice from my vet. Please call me to straighten out this no printer problem or mail the forms to me, and allow my claim go through. I”m very disappointed with your new shiny system. And I could tell that you have shorted the length of discussions that your people had to work with me. Embrace has always been a warm insurance company particularly since it is expensive. Thank you for your service.
