Our dog Bailey had some genetic leg issues manifest early in her life that resulted in multiple surgeries over the course of 9 months. Trupanion was great. The claims process was super easy and we received our reimbursement usually within a week. If there was going to be a delay (usually due to our vet), Trupanion would contact us and let us know what was going on, if there was something we could do, and when to expect reimbursement. They have been fantastic. When you are busy worrying about your dog it's great to not have to stress over the financials.

Embrace was recommended to me by my daughter and son-in-law, both of whom are vets in Ohio, so I had confidence in the company from the beginning and have not been disappointed. Petey is special in that he is a rescue from a kill shelter here in WV. Despite limited medical information about him, Embrace was thorough in collecting what little was available and, I think, very fair in evaluating his problem in light of that. The claim process took longer than I expected but understandable in light of limited information about our recently adopted dog.

When we got our new lab puppy, River, we decided to get insurance for her. We have an older lab who has experienced all sorts of health issues and is uninsured. When she needed hip surgery, the bill and meds where very expensive. And she continues to be on medication seven years later. Embrace has covered every wellness claim we've submitted and the processing time has been at the speed of light! We are very, very happy with their service and we highly recommend them.

Great company....initial claim was partially paid. Upon discussions Embrace reversed their earlier decision and paid the entire amount in my favor. This showed a flexiblity and common sense approach that overcame what might have been a bureaucratic headache. Kudo's and high marks. Rating would have been a 10 if claim was resolved a little faster.....may have been delayed with the holiday tho.

I am very happy that I have pet insurance through ASPCA. I have a 2 yr old, male, mix breed that has very sensitive skin and a very fragile body. He has been through a lot, from a broken leg to inhaling toxins which caused tremors. Through all of the various problems, I am extremely happy that I had ASPCA. The representative are very friendly and understanding and the overall service that ASPCA provides is outstanding.

My dog is old and my claim was high! It was for orthopedic surgery. No hassle, no sweat! The people at this company are terrific! Even better, quite professional and competent. A couple years ago, my husband and I decided to get pet insurance for our dogs because, having no kids of our own, our dogs are our family and we want to ensure we are always able to give them the care they deserve. We never want to have to make a decision to put them to sleep because we can't afford care. So, I started doinn research. I admit, I was a bit disheartened at what I saw at first. Most insurance companies won't cover some types of illness or injury that are "typical" of a breed... such as hip dysplasia in large breeds. Having a German Shepherd, this was a let down. Or their definition of a "pre-existing condition" is anything they had before the start of the CURRENT policy.. meaning, from year to year, you have a new policy and anything your dog had the previous year (even while being insured) has now become a pre-exiting condition. This too was frustrating. And then I found Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. What they offer is so good that I found myself reading through the policy multiple times because it seemed too good to be true! First, they cover hip dysplasia if it occurs. Second, after only a $250 they will cover 90% of the cost! And they even let you send in your smaller bills throughout the year and keep track of how much your deductible you have used. So you don't have to have one big expensive vet bill before you can use it. But best of all, for our first claim, we had a check from them in less than a week of submitting the claim!
