I love MetLife!
I love MetLife!! I’ve been very pleased with my experience so far. My puppy had a horrible first year of life and wound up at the vet a lot. I never had a problem with any of the claims I submitted. Refunds were relatively fast. I’m so happy I went with them when searching for pet insurance.

Very good coverage for our pets
Met Life Pets has provided excellent coverage for my 2 dogs including preventative coverage. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that the claim processing can be inconsistent, sometimes being processed and paid within a week and other times taking a month or more. Another plus is the Veterinarian consult which can be very useful in a a pinch. Customer service is professional and helpful.

You wrongly DENY just about everything I submit
Just about everything I submit, which are all legit and covered expenses, are rejected over and over. Then the claim is closed. I am currently dealing with this situation on denials of monthly refills for a Simparica script that was already approved! We rescued this dog after she had been in two "forever homes" and at least 3 fosters, and I keep explaining that we have provided every single thing we have on her past records (which shouldn't even matter!). It is sooooo frustrating! Sometimes they are FINALLY paid after months of back and forth, though nothing is different, so the denials seem false and unethical.

PetsPlusUs never let us down
