My cat Bosley was recently diagnosed with Hyperthryoidism. Trupanion has been incredible to deal with. The administration team at my vet hospital put the wrong classification on a couple of visits regarding this ailment, so I had appeal with Trupanion. It’s so stressful dealing with an ailing loved one, let alone worry about insurance coverage. Trupanion had the issue rectified in less than 24 hours. I was blown away with their customer service, care and concern.

Terrible service by an even wort compnay
I’ve never dealt with a company that hides behind confusing, over-engineered wording the way this pet insurance provider does. Every claim feels like a homework assignment — pages of “legal-sounding” policy language that only they seem to understand, and somehow every sentence ends up meaning “not covered.” I signed up expecting clear support for my pet. Instead, it feels like they’ve designed their policies to be as vague and technical as possible, so they can deny anything they want. Whenever I ask for clarification, I get a copy-and-paste paragraph that explains nothing and contradicts their own previous messages. It’s like they speak a different language. The worst part? The reps sound friendly, but they always redirect you back to the same impossible-to-decipher policy wording. It leaves you feeling tricked — like you’re paying monthly just to be told “no” in 12 paragraphs. If you want transparency, honesty, or even basic clarity, this is not the company for you. Save yourself the frustration and choose an insurer that actually values your time, your money, and your pet’s wellbeing.
