Trupanion is a truly amazing company. Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced in my dealings with any company or any type. And they actually do care about their customers! I'd recommend this company to absolutely anyone with a pet.

Our Pomeranian broke her front right leg and Pets Best processed and paid the claim with in two weeks of submitting. Then they processed the follow up claim with two weeks. More than pays for itself
When I decided to add a fur baby to the family, I knew that pet health insurance was a must. I looked at many of the insurers and landed on Pets Best. I am certainly glad that I did. Pets Best has been wonderful. It is the best coverage and the easiest claims. Do yourself a favor and add pet wellness coverage, too. It more than pays for itself.

Lets me focus on my pup's well being
My dog Franklin has been through some out of the ordinary health issues early in life. He had a severe bacterial brain infection when he was only 4 months old. Pets Best allowed me to easily submit claims and focus on my pups well being, not on collecting money and wasting time on phones calls, etc. Thank you!

Fast claims
I previously used Nationwide. You are sooooo much faster. I have had claims from them that took 90 days. I just wish it would have covered more of the spay cost. If other claims pay only 35-40 percent I will have to cancel as it just won't pay.

Have never had any problems
I’ve never had any problems since I started using AKC pet insurance. I’ve had a couple of big claims to process with them. Communication and contact with representatives are great, they care about your needs and are efficient with responses and making sure you understand everything. Submissions are easy and reimbursements are done in appropriate timing.

Pet Insurance necessary for peace of mind if pets get sick.
We have had Nationwide (previously VPI) for many years, we have all of our pets insured, its gets more expensive as they get older as is to expected I suppose. However it is definitely something we wouldn't want to be without & have recommended it to family & friends. The claim processing takes about 2 weeks, so not to bad & there are several plans to choose from.
