I am so glad I made the decision to get pet insurance for my dog. I've, unfortunately, had to submit alot of claims due to issues he developed or illnesses, dog bites, that have happened to him. The insurance has definitely come in handy. My only complaint, and not really a complaint, is that it takes so long to get reimbursed. But I can only imagine how many claims you must have to deal with.

Insurance as it should be
I've submitted several claims for my dog over the past two years of his life and I have not once has an eyelash batted at a claim. I submit it through the app, get confirmation that they're looking at it and the response is way under 30 days and the coverage is what my plan says. I highly recommend this company especially after hearing so many horror stories from friends that have other insurances.

Lifesaver
Our decision to rush our pet to the Emergency in the middle of the night was truly a lifesaver for our pet having not to worry about the finances at a time when we could not afford that option. Because we have Nationwide covering our backs, we would not have thought otherwise and it turned out to be a lifesaver for our beloved family member. Rude customer service and process for claims is slow and archaic
takes an average of 30 days to process claims, the website does not provide any added value when trying to look up claims from last month and very snotty representatives when i call asking questions. i am so sorry to be a bother, guess i need to take my business elsewhere.
