having Trupanion coverage since Pepper was a pup has made all of our medical decisions for her so much easier!
Pepper has needed some major medical help through the years, costing thousands of dollars. Because we insured Pepper at four mo, their coverage of her has been phenomenal! I know getting and keeping Trupanion for our puppy was the best decision ever!

Service is amazing and has been a life saver
I was recently a bad dog mom and bought a bone that was labeled for dogs at grocery store. I gave the bones to both my dogs while I cooked dinner thinking it would be similar to a marrow bone that they have all the time. Turns out I was completely wrong and both dogs are both bones. Roxy was throwing up bone fragments the next day so I took her to the vet immediately. Because I have nationwide insurance I was able to schedule an X-ray to make sure her bowl wasn’t perforated and start roxy on a round of antibiotics and antiemetic as a precaution. I really appreciate all the help from nationwide and it is a relief that when accidents happen I have insurance so my dog can have the best care.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are more than happy to take your money on your premiums but when it comes to paying claims they will look for any loophole and deny every claim! I even talked to a representative prior to purchasing this policy about specific coverage and then when I tried to submit a claim they denied every one citing pre-existing condition. In addition if your pet gets sick with the same thing more than 2x in an 18 month period they won't pay. Steer clear -- save your money!!
