Embrace not paying claims. Their portal has been down since May…
Their portal has been down since May and you can't make a claim. I spoke to customer service and emailed them my claims with documentstion at tchandler@ embracepetinsurancecom which they confirmed they received. Since then they've emailed me rejecting my claims because of no supposed documentation. I have 5 claims they haven't paid at this time.

Easy to enroll but unsuccessful entering vaccines
Was pretty easy to enroll. The choices were harder. One issue, I take a picture of his current shots and vaccines, and it asks me to type them in. The choices they offer once I type in what his vaccines were, they weren't an offer and didn't recognize anything I put in. So... Im at a loss. If you can help me great 👍

Co-Pay is counted before crediting toward deductible.
All was great, but I object to the practice of taking the co-pay off the top, then subsequently applying the 80% to the annual deductible. That is not how health insurance (for humans) works. I will have to take that into account when renewal time comes in a few months.

I had my five year old golden on…
I had my five year old golden on trupanion for less than two months after she got a bad oral tumor (wanted to protect against future issues). She passed away. I emailed trupanion to cancel our coverage and let them know. They immediately canceled, refunded the remainder of her coverage for the month unprompted, and they even mailed me a fully handwritten condolence card. Very kind and respectful. When I eventually bring another pet into my life I will not hesitate to use trupanion.

Quick turnaround on payouts
Quick turnaround on payouts. What was not good was you advertising Vetster for Micro after he passed away. We are heartbroken and that was hard to see. The insensitivity was noted.
