Since signing up, I have paid a premium every month for over 18 months, and I don't believe they have covered anything for me yet. They don't cover regular check-ups. The first and only claim I filed was denied due to my cat having a "pre-existing condition" for have a short, discrete illness over 2 years ago. I had asked if this would cause an issue when I initially signed up for the insurance and was told no, which given the circumstances, seems pretty misleading.

I did not receive a satisfactorily explanation regarding the excessive deductible on the visit 12/11. Why should I be penalize due to the why the vet entered the reason for my visit. The reason for my visit was all tied to the final diagnosis of cushings, she did send me the appeal form.

very caring place to take your pet
we have had no complaints about the care harper has received from Banfield. All of the vets and the helpers seem to really love animals, and although harper hates going to the vet, he comes out healthier and happy.

Very kind and helpful staff
Very kind and helpful staff. They figured out which would be the best type of insurance for my cat. It's pretty confusing as there are so many options. they always reimburse promptly and even call after big 'event' to inquire of the pet's health and mood! Most impressive!
