Slow pay

Claims payment for routine care is much slower than it use to be. I can understand it taking longer for major medical claims but, routing care is pretty cut & dried.

Great plan, awesome coverage!

We have used Nationwide ever since we got our dog about 4 years ago. The experience has been great. The coverage is great and the fact that Nationwide allows our vet to submit all the expenses directly makes it really easy. The account access through the website makes it easy to track submissions and reimbursements. Have not had any issues getting reimbursements on time. Hard to believe but so far we have not needed to call Nationwide customer service for anything.

Great so far!

I took my kittens in for a check up and was reimbursed in full for the visit. I used the app to submit my claim and it was pretty easy. I also had some trouble setting up my direct deposit so I called customer service. They were able to help. I feel good so far about having my adopted kitties enrolled with this insurance. It was the best priced insurance for the $. I tried to enroll with Nationwide and was unable to upgrade the insurance because of the underwriting. ASPCA saved the day.

Best experience I have had with an insurance company!

It's simple. I take London to the vet for regular check ups or when he decides to chew on my shoes and swallows a piece of it. I pay the bill, submit the receipt via the app, and I get 90% back. You have made this process so darn easy! Thank you! Love, First time dog parent :)

Petinsurance.com is a lifesaver for me!

My dog tends to be accident prone and having pet insurance has proven to be a wise financial decision for me. Nationwide reviews and processes claims quickly. The few times I have called and spoken to someone they have been very kind, caring and helpful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in search of pet insurance. Lifesaver

This is the difference between making very hard decisions between expensive vet costs and saving your pet. I had tried another insurance company in the past and it did not compare. I have been able to get me dog the care he needs while battling an unexpected lung disease.

Terms constantly being reduced without…

Terms constantly being reduced without change in premium. Horrible follow up and follow through, great customer service. I use Figo for two of my pets - one puppy from the day he was old enough to be covered. I'm constantly getting updates to the policy, all of which are eliminating coverage that existed when I signed up and agreed on a monthly premium. It also took a lot of time on my side to show and prove prior health records (required of all insurance companies) for my puppy. I keep great records and sent them to Figo, only to have them rejected multiple times and claims rejected due to this. I had to continually follow up to get them to accept them (no change in documents, nor upload procedure). I would not recommend Figo. There are plenty of other great options out there.
