Claims and reimbursement
Our dog Charlie has been diagnosed with diabetes. It has been easy to upload our claims for his testing and medical expenses. I get immediate notification that the claim has been received. After meeting the deductible, the claims have been processed quickly and we get reimbursed within a few days.

It's a life saver!!!
My pup came to live with me when she was 2 months. Since then she has had several unfortunate illnesses and it it wasn't for Trupanion Insurance I would have had no choice but to put her up for adoption or possibly worse. Each incident would have cost me out of pocket anywhere between $4,000 and $6,000. Instead I put out of pocket my monthly premiums and $200 deductible per incident and promptly received my 90% refund . My pup recently had surgery which could have cost upwards of $9,000 and all I could say was thank God I have this insurance. I recommend purchasing insurance if you plan on having a pet in your life. Thank you Trupanion for your service.

Happy Customer since 2010.
I recently read some negative reviews about Trupanion and I was very surprised. We have been policy holders since 2010 and our experience has always been very positive, this last claim was not any different. Since 2010 shortly after we submitted our first claim, I have recommended Trupanion to all my friends and family. Should we ever add another furry family member, we will insure our beloved with Trupanion. I have peace of mind knowing that my Claim will be handled with speed. I could not believe the turn-around time, from the moment our Claim was submitted, to the time the reimbursement for vet fees was deposited to our bank account. I can rest easy knowing that God forbid something happened to our Sidney, finances will not be an added stressor. Every single claim we have ever filed (and this last one was no exception) was handled with professionalism and speed. THANK YOU Trupanion, you have come through for Sidney and us once again!
