Our precious puppy is now almost 11. We had never even considered pet insurance for my other 6 dogs throughout my lifetime, until we got this new puppy. Presented in 2009, we signed up,and have never looked back. Service is prompt. Coordination with our vet is easy. Payment is almost immediate. They were there for her immunity and skin issues. Her rare fungal infection that almost took her life. Her dental complications. And now into her senior years, whatever that will hold for us. Trupanion - the truest care companion for your pet companion!

Claims are based on a per illness so each illness has to meet the deductible.
Claims are based on a per illness so each illness has to meet the deductible. This was not explained thoroughly at time of signing up. Having the insurance is questionable my dog is young, on one hand if something catastrophic happens were covered. For all the small stuff occurring I still pay so the insurance is of no help until later on in my dogs life.
