Unexpected Specialist Visit
A few months ago we noticed subtle changes in his right eye. After consulting with our primary Veterinarian our best chance would be to see a Veterinary Ophthalmologist for specialized care. It was determined that Rooster had a congenital defect and he will most likely need a procedure by the end of the year for cataract surgery. I'm glad we felt financially secure enough for him to be treated and this is all thanks to having a Pets Best plan. Rooster is only 4 years old and we only want gold star standard of care for our beloved family member

Trupanion has done an awesome job of paying on all my miniature schnauzer bills for 13 years and 8 months. If I had not had Trupanion when my dog had cellular stomach cancer, I would have had to put her to sleep. Trupanion paid a great amount on the surgery and all the chemotherapy treatments. She survived all of it. Later on, she became a diabetic. Then, within a year or so, she had to have cataract surgery so she could see again. She had to take eye drops medicine. After I met my deductible on all these health issues, Trupanion came through just as they promised, paying 90% of the bill each time at the veterinarian hospital. Some things they don't cover, which I understand. I tell people all the time to get Trupanion Pet Insurance and that they will be glad that they did. Remember veterinary doctors and hospitals are as almost expensive as human doctors and hospitals.

9+ years of appreciation
I’ve had figo for approximately 9’years now. They have allowed for me to provide outstanding care in supporting my dog through his battles with irritable bowel disease, behavior issues and more. Because of figo, we’ve been able to work with a team of vet experts (nutrition, internal medicine, vet behaviorist) to provide him a quality of life that would not have otherwise been possible.
