Trupanion saved my dog
My rescue dog swallowed a large stone while I was away visiting family out of the country. My daughter who was staying with him took him to the vet. She couldn't pay the vet bill upfront, so the vet contacted Trupanion who did a pre-approval for the treatment and emergency surgery. This prompt process meant the life saving operation could proceed and my daughter had one less thing to worry about.

DO NOT BUY/BUYER BEWARE
OMG, you will not get reimbursed without having paid for services that you cannot receive back from this company. I pay over 100 dollars a month for pet insurance through this company. You would think that they could find a real excuse for why they cannot process your claim instead of send an auto-reply out. However, you know what they can do exceptionally well? CHARGE YOU ON TIME. Go with another company or no insurance at all because this is a scam.
