Easy, quick and excellent customer service!

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for over a year now and I just had to use it for the first time when my pup got bit by a rattlesnake in my backyard. Not having used a pet insurance before, I thought the process of submitting a claim would be long and annoying. I was pleasantly surprised when all I had to do was attach a photo of the emergency vet invoice. Once they reviewed my claim, they sent the reimbursement immediately and I got it within just a few days. They also reached out to me to check in and see how my pup was going doing which I did not expect at all, and I really appreciated it. 10/10 recommend Healthy Paws!

Very happy with Healthy Paws

This is my first experience with pet insurance. I purchased it for my adopted cat, hoping I would not have to use it. However, there have been 2 emergencies in the past year. The claims process is very easy online, and reimbursement has been very quick. My company recently started offering pet insurance as a benefit, but the service has been so good I wouldn't think of changing.

Trupanion is the best insurance for your pet.

Trupanion was there for us when our dog was diagnosed with tumors in two parathyroid glands and we were faced with decisions regarding tests and surgery . We were able to focus on our dog’s care and not having to worry about paying the large vet bills. Trupanion worked with us and the vet hospital and guided us through the claims process. I cannot say enough about this insurance and their staff. They are the best in my book.

Just purchased this but can’t give a 5 star because of not knowing how they handle a claim when or if something happens to me pet. Time will tell. 4 star is for the convenience of purchasing this insurance. Thank you

I insured my recently adopted dog with…

I insured my recently adopted dog with Trupanion. Prior to my adopting him, he had been treated for heartworm. He developed a crusty edge of ear issue which was easily treated by his vet with a salve . I submitted a claim with Trupanion towards his deductible. It was rejected as being part of his pre-existing heartworm issue. I disputed the finding because i saw no relationship with his edge of ear issue and prior heartworm issue. I never got a response to my dispute, even after following up. I cancelled the policy.

Two years and still satisfied.

I've been using Pets Best for two years and am very satisfied. Great coverage for the prices, a great mobile app that I use for everything, and fast claims processing. The direct deposit reimbursements are fast and very convenient.

Healthy Paws saved my dogs life

About five weeks ago our 6 year old Newfoundland came in from outside and had obviously bloated and probably torsioned. I called the er and let them know we were on our way and what was probably wrong. She had a 360 degree torsion and her spleen had torsioned. She was stabilized and then operated on and the spleen removed. Survival for a partial torsion is 50/50. They pulled her through. A cost of $10,000 plus. A friend that is an er nurse told me problems from surgery usually doesn’t show up from 7-14 days. She said to take her temp twice a day at the same time and record it on a calendar. On day 8 her temperature started to drop. I called and we took her back to the er. On the way there her condition change to crying in pain. They took her in and her condition was sliding downhill quickly. They called us to come say goodbye. Her blood pressure was 30. When we got there her pressure was up to 90 so there was a ray of hope. Three times the cost had gone up since she got there. She now had an IV in each leg with three of them each having a different antibiotic. She did pull through at another $8,000 plus. We could not have been able to do this without Healthy Paws. My only complaint is that my plan is no longer available to new Newfoundland owners. Another plus is they pay quickly.
