Best investment in a LONG TIME

Horrified that our baby needed surgery so young. Filed claim and was given assistance within days.

Zero Values, Zero Empathy, Zero Customer Service

I requested to cancel my policy after my beloved dog Sasha passed away. I never received any confirmation that this was completed. I kept being charged for 3 additional months of coverage. Once I cancelled my credit card, they finally engaged with trying to 'keep me' as a customer. I have reached out no fewer than 5 times via their website and cannot get out of their automated system. It is painful enough to lose a pet. This company compounded my pain by continuing to send me reasons I needed to keep her coverage. They won't respond to refund the months covered after she died. I can't get them on the phone or get them to respond to my messages. PS- they never covered a penny of her care despite having a clean bill of health for 4+ years under their plan.

Excellent service

I currently have 3 dogs insured, 2 of my girls have the breeding rider added on. At each enrollment the ladies in customer service were very friendly and explained in easy to understand terms exactly what would and would not be covered in the case of the breeding rider. I love being able to choose my own deductible and the ladies were very patient when I asked for 3 different quotes with different deductibles and with and without the breeding rider.

Dependable Pet Insurance!

Nationwide's Pet Insurance has been really helpful to us - we adopted our puppy in June and our insurance covered wellness visits as well as any injury or sickness up to 90% - claims are easy to file and the reimbursement is always sent quickly - the ability to receive the funds via a bank transfer is also very convenient! We haven't had any issues thus far! The only very small recommendation would be - have claims paid to the vet at the time of the appointment or if insurance was accepted at the vet similar to health insurance and then we were billed for the remaining amount.

Although it took a little bit to cover…

Although it took a little bit to cover my first claims, as they had to gather all the records for my new puppy, they ended up covering my claims. Waiting for the check currently.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been worth my purchase.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been worth my purchase. My only "complaint" is that they only cover $75 of flea/tick/heartworm prevention so that only covers about 3 1/2 months of the year.
