I have paid into this pet insurance for…
I have paid into this pet insurance for a year recently. I visited the vet for the first time for a wellness check for both of my kittens. I have the complete care coverage and the preventative basic and it says no wait time and you don't have to meet a deductible for the wellness check. I paid $300 out of pocket because you have to pay out of pocket before they reimbursed you. Which if I would have known I was going to be denied both claims and had to fight them and still fight them after paying a year into the insurance I would have not put myself dead broke for the month I would have financed better....I would have never paid into this scam. only for them to fight me over. $90 on one and $70 on the other is disgusting They should be ashamed of themselves. It's a rip. So basically I'm paying out of pocket regardless and I would have paid out of pocket without paying a Year's worth of fees. So I'm actually out a s*** ton of money.

Wellness Plan feedback
Wellness Plan feedback. This option and process has been super easy and amazing. I'm terrible at saving money, unless I treat it like a bill. The Wellness plan has allowed me to have a bank for our 2 year old cat for her annual exams and preventative medications. The claims have been approved in 2-3 days and direct deposit is fast. Although this is basically a reimbursement back to me, it's been a game changer and creates less stress for me since I'm already not the best at planning ahead. This allows me to "save" for my cat's annual wellness visits like a bill for smaller monthly payments. I love this optional plan on top of our pet insurance.

Undiagnosed "Mass", Big Problem with Embrace
Our dog was diagnosed with widely metastatic hemangiosarcoma of the spleen. Because there was a mention of a benign lipoma of the shoulder that had not been biopsied, the claims regarding the metastatic agressive splenic malignancy, clearly not related to the stable benign shoulder mass were denied. Any one with this insurance should be aware of this policy. ANY undiagnosed "mass", any small skin cyst or a lipoma like our dog had with this company will make ANY future "mass" including any unrelated malignancy be considered a pre exiting condition. It is crazy but it is their policy. Luckily our dog had a staging CT and I am a radiologist and saw the lipoma on the images so we at least can have vets who cared for our dog and the radiologist who read the CT state clearly that the mass in question diagnosed clinically as a lipoma and not biopsied was in fact a lipoma and not at all related to the incredibly agressive splenic malignancy that led to his death. All who have or are considering to have this insurance for their pet need to be aware of this policy. Review your pets records. Read the policy closely. Any mass no matter how benign if not biopsied will lead them to deny your future claim for cancer care and you could easily not be able to prove it was not related to the reason for the claim. Beware all owners of an Embrace policy out there. I’ve edited this after seeing the embrace response. You can clearly see that they actually say that a completely unrelated “mass” that hasn’t been biopsied can be considered a preexisting condition leading to non coverage for a completely unrelated cancer in the future. Like I said, beware all policy owners and those considering this insurance.
