Solid experience
My wife and I recently purchased a policy for our new golden. We knew nothing about pet insurance going in, but the agent (Brian) was incredibly knowledgeable on the product and helped us determine the right type of coverage for our pup. While I would much prefer vet bills be paid directly by the company, the process for submitting a claim was really straight-forward... did it from my phone and was reimbursed within a week. Solid experience thus far.

Disappointed
I was upset that the emergency examination was not covered by Trupanion. My puppy fell seriously ill suddenly and unexpectedly. While I understand paying the deductible, I should have been covered for everything there after.

Great service, easy to use.
It was our first time using it so I wasn't sure how this was going to go. On the advice of a lady at trupanion, even though my bill was small I sent it in. Didn't think I would get enough to cover my deductible!! Not only did it cover my deductible, I got money back too!!
