Gracious and helpful all the way around!

My experience with Trupanion was top notch. They answered all my questions in a very timely manner and they processed my claims immediately. The only issue I would have is that during my pets recent health issues, until we received the diagnosed as FIP, we had to pay the deductible on each claim with each vet referral. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Multiple Claims, Excellent Service

Our over-eager golden retriever had a tough month in June - shattered toetail, giardia, and sprained ankle within weeks. Embrace was so easy to deal with during the claims process. They kept us informed at all points in the process and reimbursed us exactly as promised. My questions were answered quickly, by a real person. After this experience, I've already recommended them to many of my friends.

I LOVE Embrace Pet Insurance

Nothing but great things to say about Embrace. The 100% refund from my babies wellness exam was not expected. I tell everyone with pets about Embrace. Getting reimbured is so easy. It's the smartest thing I have done for my wonderful Boxer babies.

EXCELLENT!

Couldn't have been more satisfied! So quick to respond through whole process. Had payment in a week! We definitely made the right choice with Trupanion. Our puppy is barely a year old. Trupanion will be our source of "comfort" for a long time.

Fantastic

Our puppy Harry is a jumper, and he is only 4lbs. A couple if weeks ago we were gardening and Harry tried to jump into one if the raised gardens. Unfortuneatly it was too high and he missed and fell breaking his back leg. We took him to the animal hospital where surgery was done, thank goodness we had Healthy Paws Insurance because the bill was over $3000.00. Healthy Paws were fantastic paying the claim in a matter of days. Then a few days after e nailing us to see how Harry was doing. The best service I have ever had!

new underwriter= sky high policy rates

We've been with Pet's Best for 5 years and just received an email about our upcoming renewal. They changed underwriters and the same policy that we paid a little over $300 for last year is now going to be over $750. Not cool! We've been loyal customers and haven't had many claims. This past year, my dog was hospitalized for seizures and they paid out over $700 which is good but I have a feeling that's why the insurance went up. The past claims were never for more than $300 (and there were only 2 or 3 of those). They'll never admit to that of course. She's on meds for the seizures and hasn't had another one in months. PetPlan is cheaper. They won't cover preexisting conditions but we're not worried about the seizures. Pets Best also won't transfer the policy to my mom which is bull (I lived with my mom when I got my dog and when I moved, my mom kept her. It was the best thing for my dog). It's the same address that my dog has always lived at. It would just be changing it to my mom's name. I think they just want an excuse to cancel the policy. I found another insurance company who will transfer the policy if both parties give written ok for it. Pets Best might have just lost a customer. I will not be recommending them to anyone anymore.

very thorough but very slow response time

I have a 3 year old kitten who was diagnosed with an illness earlier this year. Having the pet insurance has been very helpful as the financial needs and continuing care definitely add up. The insurance definitely helps offset the expenses. I do wish they would make submitting the forms a bit easier as well as have some type of database on their online site that would keep general pet and vet information. Having to download and fill out the PDF each time and then upload it gets old.

Amazing, caring people are behind this company!

We absolutely love Trupanion. Our vet reccomended we get the insurance for the first couple years until we rule out any huge health issues, plus small dogs seems to have more accidents, illnesses, etc. After a few "wobbly dog" episodes, we found out that our little Rambo was actually experiencing ataxia post seizure- fresh blood was getting to his brain as he had a liver shunt. Which means, that a vein is bypassing his liver which in turn circulates toxic blood. The operation cost $1800 and we only paid $200 in the end, and his special food post operation is 50% covered. We are so grateful!
