These folks are wonderful!
For 42 of the last 52 years, we've been "owned" by a series of four miniature dachshunds. Until we got Tito, who's now 14 months old, we never carried pet insurance. Luckily, we had no serious medical issues with the other three dogs until late in their lives. Tito, however, has something going on that causes him to have chronic congestion, inflamed and swollen tonsils, and some exceedingly high liver values. Although we are still trying to get at the source of his problem, we have already had significant medical expenses. Trupanion has exceeded my expectations in their rapid response to the insurance claims filed for Tito. Their responsiveness has made this difficult time easier than it would have been otherwise. We will always be grateful to Falls Village Veterinary Hospital for including information about Trupanion in Tito's new puppy package.

This is the best pet insurance! Our dog recently had to have laparoscopic surgery to remove a very large vinyl treat bag from his stomach. Healthy Paws processed and reimbursed the very expensive claim within days of receiving it. This is not the first claim we have had to make and they have always been responsive and pay what we are insured for. We have had them for approximately 7 years insuring both our dogs. I strongly recommend them!

Can't imagine life without Healthy Paws!
We have had our two cats for almost two years now and are constantly reminded how much we love Healthy Paws. Our oldest cat started having GI issues last year and went through a lot of testing. Thanks to Healthy Paws, we were able to get to the root of the issue and he now has meds and prescription food that work well for him. However, we had our biggest scare a few weeks ago when our youngest cat became sick in the evening and we rushed him to an emergency clinic. We were told he needed emergency surgery and we didn't even think twice about the price, thanks to Healthy Paws. When I got the insurance claim back, I was floored by the ease of the process and comprehensiveness of our plan. We even got a check in email from them to see how he was recovering! Healthy Paws has made being a pet owner so much easier and given us the peace of mind we need. Anytime we leave them with a cat sitter, it is so comforting to be able to let them know we have pet insurance and in case of an emergency, make sure the cats get the care they need -- no matter the price!
