Excellent Service

Once again Embrace has come through for me. My poor 6 year old lab Sammy tore his left ACL last May and his right ACL a few weeks ago. Both required major surgery, which is incredibly stressful. But the Embrace claims process is so easy, and the customer service representatives are wonderful. I do not know how Sammy and I would have made it without Embrace. I recommend Embrace to all my pet-owner friends and family.

Happy with Petshealth Insurance

My cat, Rudy, has unfortunately had many different health issues throughout his 13 years. Vet bills in New Jersey are expensive and Petshealth has been great in processing and reimbursing those claims. While I prefer that Rudy stay healthy, I am glad I purchased insurance with Petshealth when I adopted Rudy as a kitten. I wish there wasn't a pre-existing clause (this is why I did not rate higher) but understand now that Petshealth has a plan with continuous coverage which was not available when Rudy qualified.

Handled my claim quickly and were very caring.

Very happy with Trupanion. They handled my claim in less than a week. The customer service reps were caring and helpful. They also cover 90% after my deductible so it was very easy to understand what was covered.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is awesome!

I have 5 pets - 2 cats and 3 dogs. I purchased Healthy Paws approximately 2-3 years ago on all 5. I'm so glad I did! Since purchasing Healthy Paws, one of my cats has developed diabetes and must have two insulin injections per day. In addition, she has to go to the vet frequently for glucose checks to ensure the dosage is keeping her glucose levels where they need to be. She's also had a couple of urinary tract infections, which seem to be related to the diabets. All of these issues have been very expensive over time. I estimate that in the past year, her vet bills have been somewhere between $1,000 to $1,500. Her insulin alone is $135 per bottle. Fortunately, I have Healthy Paws and they have reimbursed claims quickly and reliably. In addition to the above issues with the cat, one of my dogs had to have sugery three weeks ago for removal of bladder stones. Initially, she was treated for a urinary tract infection, but after approximnately one week, it became apparent that she was not getting better. The vet then did x-rays to determine if she had bladder stones, and unfortunately, she did. With her pre-surgery treatment, the surgery and meds, the vet bills were close to $2,000. Again, I feel fortunate that I have Healthy Paws and they reimbursed on her claims promptly. I am a single person, and like so many others, I'm just making a living, but certainly not getting rich. I could not bare the thought of putting down a beloved pet because of a lack of money. I would

Better!

I appreciate the timely response on this claim. I feel that if the vet says the dog needs to eat a certain food for a few days and I then have to buy it from the vet, it should be covered. It was part of the treatment, like the antibiotic I also had to buy and was covered.

tumour removal

When the doctor said Prieta needed a tumour removed from her elbow we were frieghtened. Would there be enough skin left to allow her full use of the joint? Would there be complications? Would the tumor require more treatment? Because we have Trupanion insurance for her, "How are we going to pay for this" was not one of the questions we had to ask ourselves. She is recovering well with full use of her elbow. As of today, no further treatment is required. Thanks Trupanion, you are our hero!

Amazing

I have been a client of healthy paws for almost 2 years. My pup had an accident that required surgery. He had surgery on Wednesday, I submitted my claim on Thursday, it was approved on Friday and I had a check the following Tuesday. Amazing. A customer service representative emailed me on Saturday to check up on how he was doing after surgery. I assumed it was just a a courtesty follow up, but I responded and received a very nice response back. It really made me feel like they were going above and beyond...and genuinely cared about my pup. The customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this company! I can't express what a relief it was to have healthy paws when my pup was hurt. I didn't have to worry about how much anything costs. I could just focus on him and what he needed and not how I was going to come up with the money for his surgery!
