Great personal attention from Embrace

Embrace quickly handled my claim. In addition, what really impressed me was the personal correspondence from them. I had some questions about filing my first claim, and they walked me right through it. The individual treatment was a really nice touch. I too had switched from VPI to Embrace, and am very glad I did.

Watch Out!

Inconsistent reimbursement. They did very well with one of my cats, and NOTHING (!!!) for the other one. Wouldn't recommend them because of this inconsistency. Also, no real assistance via telephone regarding protest of their non-payment. Lots of paperwork needed to request a review, including several LAYERS of review. I canceled both cats' policies and went to another provider.

Excellent and fast!!

Buddy, my cat began vomiting frequently. Then it seemed he could keep nothing down. A visit to the vet with xrays and blood work determined it was IBS (in a cat!). We changed foods but nothing helped. Another trip, meds and ultrasound seemed to do the trick. I sent in claim boths and it was paid promptly.

They do what they say! (Rare now days!)

I was previously with VPI, and there is no comparison! Embrace process' quickly, and pays out much more. Plus, you can choose what you what, as far as coverage. I used to have to fight with VPI to get them to pay ANYTHING! I have referred two people already. (Total of 14 animals.) They have filed claims, and have been very happy as well. Now they are referring other people. I really appreciate the fact they do what they say!!!! Thank you Embrace!

Excellent Customer Service

The claims representative from Embrace chased down invoices and diagnoses not once, but twice from our veterinarian to get our claims processed. We received our reimbursements quickly and correctly, well within their 15 day limit. The premiums are worth every penny.

Honest, prompt settlements

In the past 2 months I have made claims for both of my dogs for expenses totalling approximately $3,000. I have received prompt service, good communication and reimbursement that was exactly what I expected, based on my contract with Embrace. This is consistent with my past experience with Embrace. I have recommended Embrace to everyone I know with pets.

Highly Recommend!

I was skeptical about purchasing pet insurance as I thought any kind of claim would be a long drawn out argument over coverage. Well, I am so happy I bought it. We lost a lab in the ER and had a $1000 bill. When we bought our new lab puppy I did not want to go through this again. I researched and found that Pets Best looked like a good option for us. Thank God I did. Our 5 month old lab puppy got sick and was throwing up. The vet said they believed she swallowed something and needed to do exploratory surgery. This had a $1400 price tag. I really had no choice. It turns out that my dog had not swallowed anything but was having issues with her food. I submitted the claim immediately and called to discuss the issue with pets best. They were always very kind and understanding when talking to me. I fealt like I was talking to a family member. I asked them if they could expedite the claim as quick as possible because I really needed that money back. After asking this by email the claim was processed by the next business day. I have never in my life dealt with any kind of company that was truely genuine and cared. I got almost all my money back too!!! This company is awesome! I will continue to keep my $20 a month plan for emergencies. It has been the best investment I have ever made! The only thing I wish is that more vets would do direct billing. It is difficult for a lot of people to front the money. Overall, I am very happy with them. I would highly recommend them!

Honest, Accessible, Friendly

I've submitted two claims in the three years I've had Embrace animal insurance and both times I've received speedy assessments and rapid reimbursement. The monthly premiums are not cheap, but the service is excellent. I have selected coverage for what can often prove to be expensive, elaborate treatments for potentially chronic illness (planning for the future that I hope doesn't come), and I have confidence that Embrace will uphold its portion of our agreement.

Very pleased with customer service!

So far I'm very pleased with Embrace. Kodi was having issues with blood in stool. The vet decided to do a fecal to rule out parasites. After that Kodi had a barium test and a few x-rays to see if he had swallowed a foreign object. I was reimbursed the exact amount that I figured I would get. I was sent emails which kept me up to date on the status of my claims. My check is in the mail as I write this for a claim on made on 7/12/11.

Pet insurance as advertised!

When I adopted my cat I was aware of pet insurance, but had heard from VPI customers it wasn't worth the hassle (maximum allowable benefits, co-pays, exclusions....)so when I found and signed up for Embrace it sounded like a good idea, but I was dubious. Not two months later I took my cat in for her shots and learned that she was diabetic! The initial outlay was huge. I was in the vet's office that first week four out of 7 days with weekly visits for the rest of the month! When I submitted the bills I was pleasantly surprised at how NICE their customer service rep's are. (That's something they can't really tell you on their website.) And ultimately, after checking out her medical history, they covered the expenses as advertised.
