Last year only took a couple days to get approved and paid. This year was about a week and a half but once it got approved got paid right away. Other than that great service.

Peace of mind
Our girl suddenly became sick recently with Cushing disease and diabetes. As you can imagine the bills have added up quickly! Without our insurance it would have been impossible to get her the care she needed. I’m so thankful I had the forethought to purchase it.
Our first puppy
I was talking to Ashley Dickinson via chat room 1rst and then a few days later by phone. She really explained everything for me. We will be adopting our 1rst puppy in August so wanted to make sure she would be covered as soon as possible. Our breeder and my cousin actually suggested your company. It is easy to submit a claim
It is easy to submit a claim. Most claims are approved with very little pushback. Coverage terms are easy to understand. I have used them for all 3 pets for the last 10 years. Rates have gone up but that might be related to the age of my pet as well.

Web site navigation to items covered and items excluded is difficult. Exclusion lists have sub pages that do not complete rendering and leave bottom half of page not accessible. Coverage start date and underwriting review and late notifications in the process after purchase. Misleading.

Healthy Paws is GREAT Pet Insurance!
Recently, my 6 year-old dog Oliver was diagnosed with severe chronic degenerative valve disease, severe mitral regurgitation, with ruptured cord of the anterior mitral valve leaflet. I called Healthy Paws to confirm the claims filing process and got a very knowledgeable and friendly customer service representative who easily explained the process to me. Since then, I have filed multiple claims, and all have been reviewed in a timely manner with prompt payments to follow. I am very happy I chose Healthy Paws as an insurance provider and will recommend them to all my pet-owning friends and family!
