My sanity, in under $100/month

We purchased an impulse puppy, but we wanted to have everything just right for him. At $33/month, we figured insurance was a good idea. He jumped off the couch and face planted on day one, after all. When diagnosed with luxating patella just after his first birthday, we were aghast (one strike against impulse buy!). And then... We learned that the best fix was surgery. The surgery was $2000, complete with medication and X-rays. That's per leg. Both surgeries were done, less my $500 deductible, and a cheque in the mail covering 90% of the remaining cost. All done quickly and electronically. The people are so pleasant to deal with too!

Claims review

My dog ate a rock 2 weeks after I got him. The vet signed me up with Trupanion with his first exam. Trupanion reviewed the claim and paid within the terms of the policy. They processed the claim and were helpful and professional. All the agents were better than any I have experienced with any insurance company.

Great Coverage. Quick Service. Caring People

When I got my wonderful rescued Black Lab, Jack, three years ago, I decided to get health coverage so that I would never have to say 'no' for needed health care. I didn't expect to have to use it but when Jack ate a bag of trail mix with a ton of raisins and had to have his kidneys flushed. Most recently he had to have a rectal polyp removed. Healthy Paws was wonderful. So easy and quick to file a claim. Very good communication. And a quick payment. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to all my friends who love their animals.

Heathly Paws is the best!

After researching pet insurance for our cat, I felt that Healthy Paws offered the best coverage, options and premium. The policy is easy to read and spells out exactly what they cover and what they exclude. We have had the coverage for almost a year and they have been great! Easy to submit claims, I have sent everything by fax or email. I have submitted 3 claims and they paid exactly what I knew they would pay. Each time the claims have been handled and paid within one week. I couldn't be happier with Healthy Paws and I would recommend them to anyone looking for health insurance for their feline family member.

Thankful

When I rescued Ellie, a paraplegic French Bull, I had a very difficult time finding an insurance company. I read up on reviews and spent some time talking to various companies. The insurance company for my other dogs denied care. Healthy Paws, although they did want a copy of Ellie's exam and had some exclusions, was much more welcoming than others. I went with Healthy Paws and they have been wonderful. They are attentive, quick to respond and caring about their "clients". When Ellie had surgery recently it was all about Ellie and how she was doing. It comforts me to have Healthy Paws aligned with Elle's care. Thanks!

Great first experience!

Healthy Pause reimbursed for the majority of our puppy's procedures and did so extremely quickly. They even checked in shortly thereafter to see how he was feeling (our vet didn't even follow up)!We joked that we'd like to sign ourselves up for pet insurance if only they'd cover humans! The service is wonderful. There was no additional stress added to a very stressful experience.

Rapid Service

I have had insurance with ASPCA for some years and it has always come through for my pets. The most recent event was a torn ACL which required Sara to undergo surgery. The cost was $3400 and ASPCA paid over $2700. I think it was fair and the reimbursement came quickly.

Best peace of mind ever!!

My husband and I argued over pet insurance being worth it, after my 4 YO male got very sick, and the E vet need 50% of what they thought the high end total would cost for treatment, which I didn't have and needed to decide which part I could pay for, it cost me 2500. and I still couldn't save him.. I am still paying off that card today, I never wanted to have to make that choice again, that is when I decided to get the insurance, it has been a life saver, literally for my 14 YO girl Babs. I never have an issue with Healthy Paws, I love this company and have recommended to many in the vets office and in dog community.
