Our dog has had two bouts with two different types of cancer. This insurance paid both times a very generous amount..even for specialty care. Filling out claim forms is extremely easy..along with a very quick response...I shudder to think what would've happened to our dog without this insurance

Three years ago, we were devastated by the loss of our cat to lymphoma. Despite all the tests and treatments, he lived only a week after the diagnosis. We spent roughly $1,000 per day over that week, all coming out of our own pockets because we had no pet insurance. We vowed never to get into that situation again with our new cats, Bailey and Sophie. After a couple of weeks researching insurance options and reading reviews, we decided that Healthy Paws would offer the best combination of bang for the buck and outstanding customer service. After we satisfied our $500 deductible earlier this year, we've paid only 20% of the cost of his diagnostic tests and treatment, including chemo. Incredibly, Healthy Paws even reimburses us for the sales tax levied on the chemo! Unlike many other insurers, Healthy Paws has no ceiling on annual or even lifetime expenditures, which is a relief for folks like us who have chronically ill animals. The staff could not be more sympathetic or helpful. Plus the reimbursement checks are issued very quickly after we upload our receipts to Healthy Paws. Great insurance, great employees.

I got two puppies a the same time. Not the smartest decision, but keeping the brother and sister feels good now after all that training. They noticed I did not cash one of the checks so they sent me an email asking if I received it or not, and whether they should issue me a new check. I don't typically run to the vet unless I really feel it is necessary but when your dog swallows a razor, well it becomes necessary. I really could not afford a huge vet bill but I could not afford to lose her either. It 's nice to know that when you really need the help Embrace is there to help. I have a 5 year old Doberman who had been lame in his front leg for months. Our regular vets tried many conservative treatments to no avail. It was suggested that we seek the orthopedic vet specialist. We did that, he had shoulder arthroscopic surgery and is getting post-op physical therapy. I'm happy to report that he is lame no more. More importantly, a very expensive and long treatment has been re-imbursed by Embrace. As I mentioned, its so nice to have Embrace in my corner --I do tell everyone at the vets about you guys. Trupanion has helped us when we needed it the most after our pet accidentally swallowed a sock that got stuck and required surgery which was extremely expensive. Also have covered and applied basic Uris and meds to my other pets deductibles
