When our little doxie had to have a hemi-lamenectomy, we were all so upset. But we did not have to worry about the bills. We were reimbursed quickly by Pets Best and it took away some of the worry we were experiencing. I highly recommended Pets Best as they have hired quality employees who provide quality service with care.

It has been a hard few months for us, and the dogs have of course managed to get ill/have accidents at the worst time. Within a week one dog had ingested Coumadin after sneaking into the garage where a mouse tray was set, one dog needed a skin biopsy, and one was coughing nonstop. It helps to have the comfort of Healthy Paws when we face an emergency. We appreciate all the help and quick turn around for claims!

After reading nothing but positive reviews about Healthy Paws I decided to go with them when Coco was about 8 months old. After about 5 months I took Coco to the vet for a urinary tract infection. After further testing, she was diagnosed with cystitis. I have never had a dog before so I never had pet insurance and didn't know what to expect. That said, I had a few questions to ask when I had to submit the claim. Customer service was excellent and the process couldn't have been any easier. All I had to do was take a picture of the bill with my phone and send it in. Shortly after, I received an email that they were reviewing my claim. The following day I get another email stating the claim status is completed and they will be mailing my claim reimbursement check shortly. Well a few days later, I received a check. A week after that I received another email from Healthy Paws to see how Coco was doing. I am so happy with my decision to go with Healthy Paws and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for Pet Insurance. Thank you Healthy Paws!

I have had animals for years and have spent a lot of money on vet bills so when I got a new puppy in 2012 I decided to try getting insurance. Since that worked out well with the care plan and the comprehensive plan, I enrolled our older German Shepherd and a few months after that she needed surgery on a burst disc. VPI paid over 1/2 of that expensive procedure. To me, that was impressive and they always pay the claims quickly and with no issues. I am happy to have any amount reimbursed and wish I could have the same kind of thing for my horses! I have now added my new kitten to the plan and have already had to use the insurance - again with quick reimbursement and no questions asked. Every person I have spoken to at VPI has been extremely polite and helpful. I am very happy with my experiences.

I purchased Healthy Paws Pet Insurance in October of 2013 for my two scotties and my westie and in November 2013 we added our scottie puppy. At the time one of our girls had recently had surgery for a very aggressive cancer and was undergoing treatmnet. We lost her last June after 11.5 months of treatment and medical bills totaling $12,000 out of our pockets because she did not have pet insurance. We realized then that if another of our girls became ill, we would not be able to afford treatment. We researched pet insurance and chose Healthy Paws. One of our scotties was diagnosed with a liver tumor recently. She had several ultrasounds and bloodwork as we monitored the growth which was all covered by Healthy Paws. She had the tumor and half of her liver removed last week. The total of the claim was $4,690 for the surgery alone. I am able to upload my receipt and medical records on Healthy Paws website to submit them and my claims are always processed within 24 hours and a check is in the mail. Some claims have been processed in just 2 hours as you are notified via email of the claim status. I receive reimbursement in less than a week from the date of service. They also have wonderful customer service. Everyone I've dealt with is professional and caring. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Pets Best has been a great insurance provider for our cats over the years. When our 18 year old developed serious health complications, Pets Best quick service, friendly staff, and fair claims process made treating Maya's illnesses much less stressful. Their customer service staff, both on the phone and via email, was so kind and you could tell they took a real interest in Maya's well being.
