An extremely efficient organization.

I recently had my 18 month old Hananese neutered. I was particularly impressed with the speed in which my claim was handled along with the follow-up emails from the Embrace staff checking on my pups health after his surgery and keeping me up to date with the progress of my claim.

Not worth the money.

I have submitted two claims and I was not reimbursed any on the first claim and considered cancelling my policy. Now I have submitted a second claim for around $300 and got $26.80 back. I am looking into other companies.

Life Saving Pet Insurance!

My sweet German shepherd, Blaze, was having increasing difficulty walking, getting into the car and negotiating stairs. An M.R.I. was indicated to further diagnose the problem. This was only possible because Healthy Paws paid 80% of the cost, after the deductible of $250 was reached. The M.R.I. indicated that Blaze had multiple (6) vertebral discs that were variously degenerated and bulging, two of which necessitated rather immediate surgery. Spinal surgery is not a simple matter--not physically, for my dog, nor financially, for me. Again, because of the support of Healthy Paws, this life saving surgery was made possible for Blaze. As always, they processed my claims immediately and within a week, a check for 80% of this very hefty bill was in the mail. It turned out that once the surgeons had opened up Blaze, they discovered that one disc was much worse than the M.R.I. had revealed: it was actually fused to his spinal cord. It was only because of the superior skill of this Board certified neurosurgeon that the disc was removed with NO injury to Blaze's spinal cord--a 4 hour procedure, 2 - 8" long incisions, and 4 days of hospitalization. Nearly, 2 weeks since the surgery, I'm happy to report that Blaze is making a remarkable recovery. I look forward to the 8 week mark when he will be free to run, chase balls, and tussle with my other shepherd. Quick and Easy

Within 3 days of submitting my Wellness claim, I was notified that everything was going to be covered and I would be receiving a check for the full amount within 10 days. I was kept up to date every step of the way.

Claim took over 1 month to process

I have had embrace for several years. My claims used to be handled within a few weeks. Now it takes almost 2 months! I'm happy with the coverage and the people are nice. I just wish it didn't take so long to to get paid.

Foreign body indegestion

I am the owner of a 10 month old Shihtzu Pudel.I am very happy that I decided to get Trupanion insurance.I think the premiums are fair. I never thought I would have to use it as fast as I did. Customer service has always been great and all claims were worked on and paid fast.

So Much Help and Compassion

I have covered three cats with Pets Best, starting in 2008. Each year since, I have submitted claims, and each time, my claim was settled fairly and quickly. I have never once had to argue with them to get my claim settled, and each time I have contacted them with questions, they have been extremely helpful.They saw one of my cat's through a hyperactive thyroid, intestinal lymphoma, and a number of smaller ailments. When he sadly succumbed to the lympoma last summer, the staff was so caring, and the card they sent was lovely. It has been such a comfort to me to know that I can provide my pets with the care they need without having to worry about the finances. I highly recommend Pets Best.

Amazing Customer Service

Everyone I have dealt with at Embrace has been incredible. My only problem would be the amount of time it has taken to get my claims to go through. I haven't yet met the deductible, so it's not a money concern. It's just odd to have these hanging in limbo when one of the benefits they tout is quick claim turnaround. That aside, I'm totally happy with this insurance. It's reasonably priced and gives me peace of mind. I've had terrible, expensive illnesses strike my pets in the past and paying out of pocket is NO FUN! And like I said above, the customer service has been incredible!

Amazing Customer Service!

Shortly after rescuing Barry I did research on pet insurance. I found Healthy Paws to have the most flexible, comprehensive plan for the cost. (Even less expensive than the plan available through my employment with a discount!) Unfortunately we had to use the insurance when Barry received a bite wound from another dog. I submitted his paperwork, immediately recieve an email telling what additional paperwork was needed. The same day I submitted the additional paperwork (just a copy of his medical records) I received an email that my claim was processed and details of what the reimbursement would be. The amount was what I expected - yay no surprises! and the check arrived within a week.And to top off the already great experience I received a 'personalized' email inquiring as to Barry's recovery! I can't say enough in this day of lack of customer service about a complany that goes above and beyond! Thank you Healthy Paws for caring (almost :) as much about my baby boy as I do!

Customer Oriented

We've had pet insurance through Petshealth Car Plan for over 10 years now. The customer service has been a big help - especially when we have submitted some rather large claims in the past. They have also come quite a long way in terms of claims processing turn-around time. I have recommended their plan many times to friends and collies (I mean colleagues!).
