The best pet insurance out there!!!!
My dog somehow got into rodenacide (rat poison) and became very ill. I immediately took her to the hospital and we began treatment to save her. The bill quickly became very high and thanks to healthy paws I didn't even have to think about it! I'll pay for the peace of mind to save our furry family member!!

Healthy Paws - Good Decision
Happy to report that Button, our rescue Yorkshire terrier, is on the mend and feeling his old perky self! Button had eaten a non-skid rug and within two weeks of this incident, he was in the animal hospital twice for vomiting, lethargy and diarreha. We were worried sick. According to the Vet at the animal hospital, the little guy seems to have a very sensitive tummy and can be allergic to any kind of food that flies -- so he banned from turkey, duck and chicken. We were very worried dog parents while he was recovering in the animal hospital--he was a very sick little guy. He is now on a very strict limited ingredient diet.
I am so thankful to have the peace of mind of having Healthy Paws pet insurance. In my mind, I never wanted to make a decision for a sick dog (especially one with a lot of living ahead of him) based upon high veterinary costs and care. I have the 90% reimbursement (after a $500 yearly deductible) and the insurance does not cover Vet exams (small cost in my book). The Vet bill was over $1700 for once overnight stay with x-rays. In Button's care, having this insurance this was comforting when I was presented with a vet bill that could put a family into debt. Your reimbursement of the claim was prompt, and customer care is great. I have been talking to a lot of pet parents, and it seems that I made a good decision with Healthy Paws as health care insurance for my Button! This coverage will suit Button just fine for what I hope is a healthy long life ahead.
Thank you again!
Ann, Mark and Button

Thank goodness for Trupanion
Several years ago we adopted a yorkie female that was 3 years old. Within 3 months of adopting her she developed some problems that resulted in us having to have her put down after we exhausted over $5000 of our savings trying to save her. At that very moment I swore I would never own a pet without insurance so that I am not in a situation where finances make the decision of life or death. Insurance may not have made a difference in the final outcome, but I certainly would have been able to do much more.
2 years ago, we purchased a yorkie puppy. The day I brought home I purchased Trupanion for his protection and my piece of mind. Just recently we made our first claim. Bailey "stole" a bone without our knowledge and ate the entire thing! It appears that tiny pieces of it lodged in his digestive track and made him very sick. We had a policy with zero deductable and 90% coverage and I was so much more comfortable knowing money would never be an issue in his treatment decisions. We were fortunate that we have an excellent vet and we were able to clear his situation without surgery and he made a full recovery. We were reimbursed by Trupanion within 10 days of his discharge. The staff at Trupanion were attentive to us and did everything possible to insure that we recieved speedy claim service. I highly recommend it!

Wish I Knew About Embrace Years Ago
Having had other Pet insurance in the past, I had pretty much gotten used to and accepted that it was not only a struggle to get compensated what I had spent (or no more than a certain percentage of that), it was also a gamble trying to figure what they would cover and what they wouldn't. No issues with Embrace; not only was follow-up on the claim almost instantaneous, everything is clearly spelled out in the policy...no secret decoder ring required!

Excellent
As all my claims have been, this one was easy and fast. The vet clinic filed the paperwork and within the day I was notified of the claim amount to be covered and a cheque was posted.

Great Service
Trey, our Boston Terrier developed a growth on his back and several smaller ones on his hind leg. Trey underwent successful surgery to remove the growths. I submitted my claim on Thursday. Healthy Paws processed the claim the same day and I had a check for 90% of the vet bill the following Monday. I have submitted several smaller claims and they are always processed in less than a week. Fantastic service from Healthy Paws.

Not much covered...
I had a dog that went in for a check up... Simply put they tried their very best to dump everything as preexisting conditions. Even though the conditions he had at the time of the visit displayed completely different sypmtoms. My dog had been brought in before with a swollen leg and Xrays were done. This time they did Xrays again, but he didn't have swollen legs, just a fever and lack of appetite. He was hospitalized and the total bill came out to be about $1,800. They were planning to send me a check for about $300. I asked for a detailed explanation of benefits as they were very vague about why they wouldn't cover certain items. The other reviewers on here maybe be hired or falsified. They only part of their story that is true is that they are quick with processing once they get the information they need. If this case works out and they decide to reimburse me for the correct amount, I will rewrite this review. As of now they are definitely not recommended.

Paid for my trip to the emergency room!
I have gone through three different kinds of Pet Insurance, and Embrace has really come through.
I have a two-year old boy cat, and he was super healthy until one night, he began to go to the litter box every 10 minutes. He was straining to pee, which could be fatal. We went straight to the emergency room. Sure enough, he had blood in his urine, and he was diagnosed with cystitis.
I fet so much better at the clinic knowing that I had insurance. Any time the doctor said, "This is how much this test costs. Do you want us to do it?", my answer was "Yes. I have insurance, and they'll cover it." And they did. Not that my answer would have been a "No," but it really gave me a peace of mind knowing that some of the fee would be coming back.
The payment came in the mail within 2 weeks, and I felt grateful. It covered pretty much everything minuet the deductible. For a small fee per month (I pay about $24/month), insure your furry pal, and you will not regret it.
