The best insurance

Kaycee had a ruptured cornea. The options were to save the eye with a corneal transplant or the cheaper method was to just remove the eye. Thanks to Embrace Insurance, we were able to save Kaycee's eye. Love you, Embrace.

Phew, that was close.

So we had Petsecure while our pup was just that - a pup. Then I found myself unemployed and having to buy a condo, so the 50 bucks a month seemed a little steep. Once she started hitting up daycare and we were settled again, I resigned up... lucky, because she started presenting a torn ACL/Luxating Patella a month later. Petsecure covered everything, including hydrotherapy, to 80%. They are always professional and helpful on the phone, and even paid the practice direct for her very pricey surgery. I'm quite happy with the service, but wish they'd be a little faster with claims. Also, it seems ridiculous that they don't pay for "routine maitenance" to me... shouldn't they be encouraging us to avoid illness and problems?

wonderful coverage

Hello,I've had two quite sick dogs over the past 2 years and ASPCA insurance has gotten me through some expensive care that would have been prohibitively expensive otherwise. I'm happy with the service and their concern for the well-being of our pets.

This is why we have pet insurance from PetFirst

We got our first German Shepherd 3 ½ years ago. The day we got him we researched pet insurance plans and shortly after that decided that PetFirst was the best on the market. That day we bought our first policy and we have never regretted it since. Within 8 months our pack grew to 3 German Shepherds, and with each one we immediately added them to our PetFirst policy. For 3 years we paid our affordable monthly premiums, even though our family income had dropped significantly since the recession began. We loved our dogs and never wanted to have to decide between their health and our finances. Two months ago we began to notice a swelling in the left nostril of our big female. It quickly grew till it was blocking it. Our vet warned us that this could be serious and that we needed to take her to a specialty clinic for diagnostic exam and treatment. Our first thought was cancer. I quickly got an appointment with the specialist and I sat in the exam room while an initial exam was performed behind closed doors. The vet came back in with an estimate for biopsy and exams. She would have to be anesthetized for the biopsy. The estimate? Between $1,300 and $1,800, depending on how invasive the selling was. Now here’s why you buy pet insurance from a company you can trust and depend on. I didn’t need to even think about it. Our out of pocket would be about $200 to $300. We can afford that. Pay attention to your claim.

Although they pay rather quickly, make sure you pay attention to your claim paperwork. I caught a mistake that was made by Trupanion that if I didn't look at the claim papers and check they sent me, I would have been out over $200. Trupanion used the excuse that it was an oversight on their part. I wonder how many oversights they have in a year. Be careful and look at all your paperwork.

Awesome Customer Service

I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I have two dogs and both are insured by Healthy Paws. Flexible deductible and reimbursement and unlimited stop loss. My Cavalier King Charles developed allergies, because I had the insurance I was able to have her tested and she is now being treated with great success. Since I don't self-insure for my dogs it was a life saver and she doesn't have to suffer and go thru the long process of elimination. She has both food and environmental allergies. I would not have know that without having her tested. My little mix also has insurance, which was little less expensive because she is a mix, but haven't had to use it and hope we don't. They have raised my premium once but not because of the claims just normal rising health care, just like our health insurance. They pay promptly and are always very helpful and polite. They even told me that there were medication on the medical records that I did not submit they would pay for. I did a lot of research and I'm very happy with my choice.

Amazing Personal Touch

I am very pleased with the personal emails and customer service we have received from Embrace. My first claim with "wellness rewards" for our dane pup was handled promptly. Thank You! My last experiences with another pet insurance company with our previous dane were not as pleasant.

The jury is out for now..

I am a new customer with a rescue kitty. I did my homework researching insurance companies and it seemed that Embrace was the only one that went into effect in 24 hrs. after signing up(for Wellness coverage only). But I signed up with the understanding that everything was covered immediately. It was only until after I submitted my claims that I understood that pre-existing conditions(earmites/fleas) and injury(infection related to the spaying) were not covered. This was not made clear to me on the phone or from reading the brochure. Although everyone I've been in contact with has been very nice and helpful, I feel I did not get the correct information initially. You have to be able to ask the right questions! I have a very young kitty who is mostly an indoor pet so I'm not sure if this is the right insurance for us. We'll see how the next few claims go.

Awesome Company To Deal With!!

I have a boxer mix who has had occasional issues requiring veterinary intervention. It's been very comforting to know that I have had Healthy Paws insurance to fall back on in case of any great expenses. Healthy Paws seems to take each case very personally and has always been very responsive in reacting to any submitted claims. My claims have been processed extremely quickly and payment has always been sent out promptly! I couldnt imagine a better company to deal with!
