Excellence in Service!

A good friend had some major surgery come up for her dog a few years ago, the bill was in the tens of thousands. She thankfully had Trupanion and couldn't say enough about it. We are truly grateful to have found Trupanion and everyone has been so generous and helpful. One of our babies had a mass removed and they found cancer, the doctor suggested radiation and it was all covered up to 90%. Can't imagine being able to do it without Trupanion.

Healthy Paws has the most comprehensive coverage!

I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with countless members of the Healthy Paws team. Upon the adoption of my lab-mix puppy, Titan, I thoroughly researched every pet insurance option available, calling and emailing multiple customer service reps from multiple companies to ensure I had an apples-to apples-comparison. Healthy Paws won us as a customer, and I've never been happier. We submitted our first claim (Titan had worms...), and everything was covered outside of the exam fee! While it did take a bit longer to process, it was our first claim, and we submitted about 11 documents to Healthy Paws from his initial visit, his visit for boosters/vaccines, and his neutering surgery, among a few other pieces of paperwork. I knew this claim would not reach our deductible, but wanted to get all of our information in the system for if he has a larger claim that will require reimbursement. I cannot stress how amazing their coverage is. I'm writing this review not because I was reimbursed for a large claim (thankfully!), but because I have the confidence and peace of mind that if that day comes, Healthy Paws will be there. They truly have the most comprehensive and thorough coverage. They have an annual deductible which is the most cost-effective, they pay off the actual vet bill (unlike VPI), have no maximum payout limits (unlike Embrace and PetPlan), have no transaction fees (unlike PetPlan), cover Rx and OTC if prescribed (on a case-by-case basis), cover breed-specific and hereditary/congenital conditions, cover specialists, mobility aids, acupuncture/chiropractic treatments as prescribed by a vet, and cover dental extractions/reconstructions if due to an accident. They do not have any "Wellness Plan" add on, but for the price of their premiums you can afford to purchase a plan through your own vet (such as Banfield) if you desire. If you are considering purchasing insurance for your dog, I urge you to reach out to a Healthy Paws customer service rep, and you'll be sold. Enroll your pup early, and you'll be set!

Get Pet Insurance, and Get it with Trupanion!

Four years ago I got my first giant breed puppy, a "Saint Dane" named Dino. We did not have health insurance for him, I simply never thought about it. He was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia at 6 months old. We paid $5,000 for the first surgery, only to find that the surgeon didn't fix the problem, so he had to go in for a second surgery, which was around $3,000. Dino's health spiraled out of control from there, with infections, skin problems due to an undiagnosed thyroid issue, and then... he tore an ACL. It was another $5,000 surgery for the first ACL tear. A year later, another ACL tear and another $5,000. Long story, short, when he was 4 years old, the elbow infection returned, and the antibiotic we gave him ruined his liver, and we had to put him down. Besides losing the love of our life, we were somewhere around $30,000 in the hole over the course of four years. When Dino was still alive, we got our second giant breed, a great dane. I immediately enrolled her with Trupanion. While I haven't had to use her insurance, the premium is so affordable and the peace of mind so great, I will forever keep her covered. Determined not to let our terrible experience get us down, we did research and picked out a different Saint Dane breeder who had zero health problems that we knew of in her lines. We bought two more Saint Dane puppies, flew from CA to CT and back to get them because they were supposed to be healthy, and just in case, I also enrolled them into Trupanion's coverage, expecting and hoping to never have to use it. I have three large dogs covered, along with rehabilitation for them, and my monthly premium is absolutely affordable and worth every penny. As luck would have it, one of our new puppies, Faith, was diagnosed with double hip dysplasia at 8 months old. She needed another one of those very expensive surgeries. Due to the financial situation surrounding our first dog, we were in no place to be able to cover another giant orthopedic surgery. If it weren't for Trupanion's coverage on Faith, we probably would have had to have put her down. But, Trupanion has really come through for us. They immediately pre-approved her bilateral FHO surgery, and they followed through with every promise of coverage. They are more timely, responsive, friendly, and helpful than any company I do business with. They are truly remarkable. They stand by their word. There are no loopholes - what you read about is definitely what you get. After spen

We have been with Healthy Paws for several years now and have never been disappointed with their service. They have great coverage and you get your reimbursement check very quickly. They check in to see how your animal is doing and are caring and kind. We can highly recommend this company to anyone looking for exceptionable pet insurance.

Beyond grateful to Embrace!

Couldn't have been easier! Notified within a day that they had our claim & a few days later we received payment. No hassle, incredibly transparent and straight-forward. We wish our 'human' health insurance ran as smoothly (and clearly)! So grateful Embrace helped us get excellent care for our dog when things got scary. Out of nowhere, she got a high fever, developed complications & ended up spending days in the ICU. Each day the vets were confident she could make a full recovery... and she did! Almost as quickly as she had gotten sick she bounced back & was home running, playing and doing all of her usual favorite things! Thanks to Embrace, we didn't have to worry quite as much about the money and could focus our attention on making the best choices for our dog's care and supporting each other during an incredibly stressful time. We've recommended Embrace to friends & family and will continue to do so. They've been outstanding - we couldn't have asked for more! Thank you to all of the 'Embracers' for taking such great care of us.

Wonderful company, great peace of mind!

Embrace has covered both of our dogs for over two years, and we cannot recommend them highly enough! Claims processed fast, lovely company to work with. Our younger dog contracted parainfluenza and pneumonia just weeks after we bought her policy, spent a week in ICU on oxygen and IV fluids. Heartbreaking, but she pulled through and Embrace covered it exactly as expected. We are so happy!

Great pet insurance

Glad I have insurance for Cisco. Vet bills are so high. You need the insurance to help you with the fees. Embrace insurance is very easy to deal with.
