Having lost a dog to lymphoma a few years ago, when we got Rana (Raina), the first thing I did was look for really good pet insurance and settled on Nationwide. It is a blessing. Raina started having a problem with standing about two months ago. She a young dog. Her diagnosis is not solid yet, but it's looking like an autoimmune issue. We're waiting for final test results, but so far she's been seen by an orthopedic vet and now an internist, who has really narrowed down her issue and she's being treated with prednisone and an anti-biotic with really good results so far. Waiting for test results from NC University (I think that's the school) about the issue.

Healthy Paws was recommended to me by my adult children who own dogs. My 3 year old rescue needed diagnostic procedures to rule out serious disease. Healthy Paws consumer service was simply the best throughout the process. I really like the ease of submitting claims through their phone app. They deserve a rating of 10/10 in all areas.

This is a literal LIFESAVER
My Pug had to have emergency surgery to remove a blockage. It was life or death for him and without this policy we would not have been able to get the treatment to save our sweet boy. The reimbursement was complete and we received it very quickly (about a week). This saved his life and my finances. I'm so grateful to have had this policy!

I went with Nationwide for my puppy based off of what I read on an Internet search then making a phone call to speak with an agent. Best decision I made. The agent was so efficient and answered every question precisely and honestly, and trust me, I had A LOT of questions! I wish my health insurance was as easy!
My pup is a senior so I thought my rates would be unaffordable. I was wrong. Not only is filing a claim (online) easy, reimbursement is quick and deposited directly into my bank account. The ability to phone in and speak to a vet ahead of making a visit to the vet is extremely appreciated. Everyone I have spoken to at Nationwide has been kind and extremely helpful. I suggest Nationwide Insurance to all my friends and co-workers with pets! No regrets~ and when we adopted a kitten I promptly called Nationwide to have him covered as well!
