Claims Process
I was very frustrated with what claims was requesting. It was not made clear until I talked to claims several times. Finally, the last person, Charlene, told me that I needed the vet to send soft notes which was different from the medical records requested. Customer service reps must realize we do not live and speak pet insurance lingo and many clients at the vets do not have pet insurance to know what exactly is being requested.

Awesome Quick Claim Paying
We have three Miniature Schnauzers, from 5 months to 12 years. Every single time we’ve had to make a claim, we’ve been paid in under a week and have never had it questioned. In addition, having the premiums as a payroll deduction is so convenient! We’ve been extremely happy with Nationwide!

Great coverage, easy claim process
We chose healthy paws two and a half years ago shortly after we purchased our golden retriever puppy, Cheddar. Unfortunately, Cheddar has had many health issues in her short 2.5 years, but healthy paws has always made the claim process quick and painless. In particular it made it easy for us to go with the best medical care possible for Cheddar when she was diagnosed with cancer because we know we’re covered. We can’t thank healthy paws enough for giving us this extra time with Cheddar.

Most amazing company EVER
We went back and forth about getting pet insurance because we were not sure if it would truly be worth it. When we finally decided to go ahead and do it, our dog was 5 years old. We have entered into this feeling so comfortable and happy bc we know any issues that arise as he gets older will be taken care of. He is our whole world and we didn’t want to not be able to cover all his medical bills as he gets older. We did a lot of research and ASPCA was by far the best in terms of reviews, bar none! Now, having been a member since Dec 2019, I can see why! I have never had such lovely customer service from ANY company in my life. They are timely, helpful, efficient, considerate, and of course HUMAN! No two hour wait times on hold here. Just since December they have covered $4000 worth of vet visits for us! (Surprise ACL surgery helped running up that tab!) Youwill not regret getting this for your pet whatsoever!
