I could not ask for more in doggie insurance!

Trupanion has performed EXACTLY as promised in their policy...this has been my dog's 4th claim and we have never had any issues concerning coverage or payment. Considering the fact that my dog is only just turningSue 2 this month, protecting his health with insurance has probably been one of the smartest investments I've ever made. I LOVE TRUPANION!

Best Decision Ever!

This is our first time having pet insurance for one of ourpups and we have been beyond impressed with the level of customer service, how easy it is to submit claims (our vet just faxes the claims in for us after any procedure or visit), and the speed with which the claim is reviewed and the reimbursement checks arrive in the mail. In the very rare event, I need to call Healthy Paws, an actual person answers the phone immediately and they are always so, so helpful. It has been such a relief to know we have insurance while dealing with the stress (and expense) of keeping our little pug healthy. For years, we questioned whether or not pet insurance would be worth the "hassle" we were expecting in getting claims submitted and approved. But we have had such a positive experience, I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone I know that has a dog. Our only regret is waiting so long to sign up!

Stones away!

My 7 year old Dalmatian was having trouble urinating, and when she did go, it was grossly bloody. My home vet thought it was a urine infection, but after a treatment she suspected stones. I brought the dog for X-rays, and sure enough over 100 stones. She had the surgery that same day and had to stay 2 nights. When I was given an estimate of the cost I told them I had Embrace, and sure enough they had literature there. My other Dal had ACL repair and it was covered without incident. Guess what, so was this one. No issues, no problems. I love this company. To file a claim is easy, the people are nice, and I no longer worry if something big happens. Twice now I have been extremely satisfied and impressed.

The best insurance ever!

Carly, my rescue mixed-terrier tore her ACL chasing a squirrel. After conservative treatment didn't work, she was referred to an orthopedic surgeon due to the complicated nature of the injury. She had the ACL repaired, a little metal added and after six months of careful, increased activity is doing very well. We are on a fixed income and without VPI insurance, I'm not sure how we would have managed. Customer service was professional and helpful and our claim was paid promptly.

I'm so glad that I have pet insurance from Pet's B

The many, many times that I have brought my dog to the vet, for simple check-ups or major surgeries, and ask for reimbursement from Pet's Best Insurance, I am truly grateful for the ease in filling out the simple form and the expediency in which I receive the money.

Healthy Paws is a Life Saver

Bella had always extremely healthy, but we had insurance just in case. But in the last eight months we've had two scares. She was diagnosed first with malignant tumor on her foot and then two Mast cell tumors. In both instances, she had surgery and on both occasions, Healthy Paws was there for us. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly. Claims were handle quickly and I think fairly. I really can't say anything better about an insurance company. I recommend them to all our doggie friends.

My experience with Trupanion has been nothing but positive. Claims are easy to file, settlement is prompt, and never a hassle. Of course I was hoping to never have to make a claim but having the coverage has sure softened the blow of dealing with my sick dog.I recommend Trupanion without hesitation.

Never Had A Problem...Until Now

On September 28, 2015, I submitted a claim for my rescued Torti-Point Siamese, Semi, who had begun to develop lesions on her face, around her eyes and between her paw pads. Included were comprehensive notes, including a bill for bloodwork, cytology and a punch biopsy to rule out lupus, other auto-immune diseases and cancer. The total bill was for $292.00. Semi's $100.00 deductible had already been met. I should note that on all previous claims, I had also submitted vet records along with invoices. After countless calls, I was told that vet records dating back 18 months were required. I explained that the only vet records not submitted were those for dental surgery in February, 2014, when I first adopted her, since I knew that PetsBest did not cover dental procedures. I was told these, too, were required and that my vet would be contacted for all records. Fast forward to today, October 12, 2015. Again, no response from PetsBest. When I called, I was told that my hospital had not forwarded Semi's records. While I was on the phone with Geraldine, a representative, I called my vet and was told that not only had they submitted all requested records, but had a verification that the fax to PetsBest had been sent. Geraldine said there had been no records received. Again, while on the phone with Geraldine, I asked my vet to once more fax the records, this time to Geraldine's fax line, which they did while both she and I were on the phone. The records did get to Geraldine this time around. Now, I'll wait to see what new roadblocks PetsBest will set up to avoid paying for this very modest bill. If I had been asked to rate PetsBest before this experience, I would have rated it highly and, in fact, gave it a positive review for its handling of bills incurred when my Siamese, Jasmine, became ill with FIP nearly two years ago and ultimately had to be euthanized. I have, in fact, recommended this company to friends and acquaintances and know, for a fact, that they have insured their pets. Based on the ineptitude and bureaucratic hoops I had to jump through this time around, I would hesitate before recommending this company. While I understand that records are needed for claims involving a new pet to insure that there are no pre-existing conditions, a pet who has submitted both claims and records for prior issues should not have to have so many roadblocks erected before the claim is resolved. And if a representative does respond to this review

Easy and awesome claiming process

TruPanion is the best pet insurance company out there. With unlimited coverage, many coverage options to choose from and easy claiming process. I claimed twice so far: indirect and direct billing. Direct billing is done automatically through my vet. Indirect billing is you have to pay up front, send in the paper work online, then the reimburse is deposited directly into my bank account. They are also an honest company, my monthly payment went down when I moved to a different area in the city.I would recommend this company to all the pet lover out there.
