Takes the pain away!

This is our second cat that we have had pet insurance for and both times we were very satisfied. We went away and our cat got very sick and our sitter had to take her to the vet. She had a lot of treatment and had to stay 2 weeks under the vets care - so as you can imagine the bill was high when we returned. It was a relief to see the insurance check come in so we didn't even have to think about finances - just returning to a really sick pet was bad enough - dealing with finances or a fight with the insurance company would have been too much to handle. Thanks

24PetWatch - horrible customer service, waste of $

Very difficult to talk to someone on charge. After more than 25 business days waiting for word one way or the other, On the only claim I ever filed with them, I finally found out my claim was denied after 7 years of paying them premiums on multiple accounts. So then the rep tells me I have to go through a lengthy reassessment process but thought my chances were good. However when the manager called me back, she was very snarky in her tone and said that I could ask for a reassessment but the answer would still be no. They said they found something in the pet puppy records from 2007 that hinted at a possible future problem. When I explained that my vet told be they typically just note this condition automatically for small dog breeds, and asked if I could get a letter from my vet addressing that entry (as the first rep told me I could), the manager rudely said it wouldn't matter what the vet said, all that matters is that note in the medical record. They also said they considered the other injury related so wouldn't even consider paying a portion of the surgery. 24PetWatch is a scam, & they only want to collect your premiums and deny paying anything when you file a claim. Now I've flushed down the toilet well over twice what I ended up paying out of pocket for the surgery. Highly recommend just putting a little bit aside in a separate savings account for emergency dog care rather than signing up with these scam artists.

unsatisfied customer

We were given the name of this company from our breeder so we thought we would get insurance on both our dogs. They forgot to take out an automatic payment and when we had submitted a claim were told it was on hold because a payment had not been made back in November and this was now January. You send emails to find out what happened and put the plan on the client. Along with that, they informed me that they had not received any emails to cancel which atleast 4 emails were sent with a confirmation that it had been from their automated computer. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy

Fantastic

Trupanion was there every step of the way for us and our dog. They made submission simple and reimbursement came in a timely matter. I would highly reccomend Trupanion to anyone.

The best pet insurance around!

I have used other pet insurance in the past, but by far, Healthy Paws is the best! They have excellent coverage for pets, great customer service, and a very quick turn around for claims reimbursement. I am 100% satisfied with Healthy Paws, and I will continue to use them for my pet and any other pet we may have in the future!

Amazing customer service, helped me through the whole new claim process. I am so glad that I have purchased this insurance plan! Without it, I would not have been able to afford to fix the hematoma on Peach's ear!

ACL tear

Everything was great except for the fact that I had to submit the same information 7 times. I have a claim from November that was still pending because when I email and faxed the information to different people at Trupanion it was not added to my profile. I called one more time and asked for the Miriam Keith to confirm that she received my email and then finally the issue was solved. But before that John Norton received my information several times and he never follow up with me.

Incredible company

I recently switched my dog from VPI to Embrace and couldn't be happier. We are still new, but so far this has been the easiest company to navigate. Without going through an endless automated telephone maze, I can call and speak with a real, friendly, enthusiastic person who can answer my questions. Nobody likes dealing with insurance companies, but I have had nothing but positive interactions. They even told us when our vet's fax got cut off so we wouldn't lose any time submitting our initial health review. I get quick, attentive responses, and direct deposit reimbursement for wellness claims (easier than submitting a rebate - and so much faster). As a physician, I only wish that human insurance companies would be this easy to work with. We have not had any injury or illness claims to submit so far, but I anticipate they will be just as helpful.

I am amazed

I've had insurance in place for my dogs for years but this is the first time I've used it. My dog Jade had to have surgery a week ago today for cancer. I never expected the claims process to be so easy or so fast. I scanned and uploaded the bills over the weekend, and today I was notified the claim has been processed and payment is on its way.There are many difficult decisions ahead for us, but I am grateful that I don't have to make any because of financial reasons. All I have to consider is Jade's well being.

Fast turnaround

My dog has been covered at Pets Best since she was a puppy. We have the illness and accident coverage as well as the Wellness plan. Pets Best has always been quick and efficient when processing our claims, and to date we have always been approved for reimbursement. Our latest claim was for an emergency eye surgery, and our experience speaking with customer service was helpful and courteous.
