Outstanding Service

My vet told me when I adopted a rescue that I should really consider Embrace for pet insurance instead of other services. I took a look online and did some research, Embrace was by far the best service for the price for my very active dog. We opted for the wellness and sick/injury coverage. About four months after having our new puppy she swallowed something, spent the night in the ER costing us a pretty penny - well Embrace covered exactly what they said they would not gimmicks, hassle - the reimbursement check was in my mailbox 2 weeks later and they even followed up to make sure we had received it. My own personal health insurance is not that good compared to Embrace and I have one of the leading carries in the US. All in all if you have a furry friend, sign up and make sure its with Embrace.

Responsive. Caring. Fast claims processing.

Our 2nd claim. Our dog was diagnosed with bladder stones and needed surgery. I submitted a pre authorization request for a Monday surgery at 5pm central time on a Friday night and had a phone call and approval by 8pm. Fabulous. They worked with our vet to get all the required records and receipts and our checks arrived within a week. I received phonecalls, well wishes and even a follow up call to ask how she was doing after surgery. My dog is my baby, and having her sick and in surgery was traumatic enough for me. The one bright light was knowing Trupanion was there for us and the caring and responsive attention they gave to us. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone and give them my thanks for taking such good care of Bea.

Great piece of mind

Our dog Jackson had a stroke and to rule out a brain tumor and ensure that is what's happened we had to get an MRI and an overnight stay at the vet hospital.The total bill after it was all said and done was almost 3K, we only had to pay 700, without the insurance we most likely wouldn't have had the piece of mind of knowing that Jackson was going to be fine.

Very bad plan

My dog started getting sick in September. He was diagnosed with diabetes in October. October was the beginning of a new plan period. Because he started becoming sick in September but didn't get treatment until October, ASPCA would not cover any of his expenses. They said since he showed symptoms of his disease during a different plan period, he was not eligible to receive any reimbursement. This doesn't make sense and is very unfair.

Fast claims payment, every time.

I have been very impressed with Pets Best prompt processing and payment of our claims. We have insured two dogs with them and have had a very positive experience. We will definitely be using them again when we add another pet to our family. They've paid $1,000's in claims payments to us, and they came through especially when we were dealing with a torn ACL. This is the best insurance product EVER!

On October 22nd of last year our family received it newest addition, an adorable two month old Harlequin Great Dane we named Tank. About a month ago we started noticing that Tank was walking very funny, but given that he had grown from 27lbs to at that point about 75lbs in a little over two months, we attributed it to his rapid size increase. When the problem continued to worsen we were referred to a neurologist and last week he had very expensive neurosurgery (approximately $8,000). At that point we had only had one small claim filed with Healthy Paws (which they had paid very promptly) but we were very skeptical about how they would handle such a large and exotic claim. They were wonderful! As a pediatric reconstructive surgeon, I only wish that the human insurance companies I have to deal with were half as responsive. We have had pet insurance before and were very disappointed with it. When we got Tank my husband did a lot of research and loved the fact that there were no breed specific exclusions, no restrictions on the veterinary charges (our last per insurance would always tell us that our veterinarian was charging way too much and would automatically slash any claim in half) and no lifetime caps on the policy. Although Healthy Paws was the most expensive option, it is clearly worth it as you truly get what you pay for. My family could not give a higher recommendation to Healthy Paws. Good but initial documentation could be better

Overall, I am very pleased with Healthy Paws. They genuinely seem to care about the health of my pet, reimburse me quickly, and make filing claims relatively fast and easy. My only complaint was my first experience with filing a claim. I submitted my dog's medical history repeatedly and would still get auto-generated emails asking for more documentation. The problem was I never knew what they were specifically asking for. After several calls and email exchanges I was eventually able to sort it out. Since the initial paperwork filing, my experience with Healthy Paws has been extremely pleasant. Also, I am happy to say that the cost of the insurance is reasonable and it has already paid for itself in terms of helping lessen vet costs. Therefore, I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws to another pet owner.

Complete Satisfaction

After several years with VPI I didn't think it could get any better. However, EMBRACE really puts the cherry on-top of that oreo shake. Using the well-ness program and getting the refund for rendered services has never been so completely satisfying. It's a great deal, I get back what I pay in, and it's quick and easy! Excellent Pet Insurance

Excellent Pet Insurance company with unsurpassed customer service. My experience with claim reimbursements have been completed and deposited (via direct deposit) within a few days of my veterinary office visit.Highly recommend to any pet owner seeking medical coverage for their pet, especially with the high cost of veterinary costs in today's marketplace. My veterinarian's office staff mentioned to me that I was the first of their client's to have Embrace as my dog's medical insurance carrier and now several of their clients have joined in with Embrace as their choice of insurance companies. At their office, Embrace out of all other insurance companies is the most streamlined to work with on behalf of their clients.

Very quick refunds

Embrace has been very good, the turn around for a claim refund is very quick. They cover the actual cost of the treatment rather than an allowance for each service provided.
