Great pet insurance company

My cat was shaking her head and scratching her ear for about two weeks. Antibiotics didn't work, so I took her to a surgeon who informed me that she needed a ventral bulla osteotomy. I scheduled the surgery for the next day, but was worried about how I would pay for it. I contacted Healthy Paws several times that day and while they could not pre-approve the surgery, they were very responsive and told me that it would likely be covered. After the surgery, I submitted the invoice and my cat's medical records, and Healthy Paws quickly processed and approved my claim. I am very happy with how quickly the claim was processed.

No complaints, they paid as agreed

Our first puppy for the family and my first puppy since I left for college. I selected Embrace to insure after comparing with 3 other companies. We insured for accident and illness and also signed up for the Wellness plan. Indie, our mini golden doodle had her first set of shots under the plan. They notified me by email that our Vet filed the claim and they paid as stated. Embrace was proactive. Thank you.

Trupanion gave Saphira outstanding care!

10 - bestFrom the day Saphira tore her cruciate ligament on her right leg (November, 2012) till now, Trupanion has been with us all the way. They provided 90% of a $4500 claim, and they also supported physiotherapy, and the ensuing complementary medicine (hydrotherapy and laser therapy) that benefitted Saphira immensely. I recall having received one comment that we had made it past a year, and Saphira still had not torn her other cruciate ligament on her left leg. This can happen often, we were told. Well, it is now almost two years, and we have been accident free. I am not saying that she won't be affected, but the statistics are definitely in her favor. And the main support was her alternative therapy. She did a 5k run for the military last summer, and a 2k run this summer. I will be continuing her therapy, because she benefits from it so much. And it is Trupanion that we owe a tremendous amount of thanks to. The agents, and all the people I have dealt with, have been absolutely top-notch. I would not have any other insurance company.

Amazing

Thor my Sammie suffered a seizure. Submitted my claim on June 26 and was processed and closed on July 1, my reimbursement should be in my account in a few days. Embrace Pet Insurance is amazing with the speed they handled this claim. Thank you!!!

First time use and couldn't be happier!!

Our 5 month old baby French Bulldog Henry wasn't keeping any food down and losing weight rapidly. Within one week we racked up $1900 in vet bills between x-rays, blood work, ultrasound etc. To our dismay, it was only a food allergy and a double ear infection, but Healthy Paws asked no questions and within 10 business days we were cut a check for almost $1300!!! (Less our $100 deductible, 3 office visits and a RX food he was given) It gave us such a piece of mind that we would be reimbursed most of the out of pocket costs and that our baby who means the world to us will always have top notch medical care. Not only were they wonderful with the reimbursement process, I had made several phone calls during because this was my first claim and I wanted to make sure everything was received and they had all they needed. The customer service I experienced before, during and even after was the best I have ever seen. If only all companies had the same customer service as Healthy Paws, the world would be a much better place!

Excellent company to deal with.

Our 3.5 year old Ragdoll needed emergency surgery to repair a diaphram paracardia hernia. Following her surgery, a clam was submitted and payment was made promptly. Whenever we need to submit a bill for payment, Embrace is always very prompt to respond to the request and notifies us in a timely manner the status of each claim. Embrace personnel are very concerned about their clients and follow up frequently to make sure the patient is recovering and payment as been received.

A big help

Rusty got sick quickly and it got very expensive very fast. It was nice to know that relief would come by getting these bills covered by insurance.

Very thankful for our vets and VPI

My Great Dane developed Gastris Dilation and Volulus (commonly called Bloat). I am very thankful for the vets who care for our furry and feathered animal friends. Excellent Peace of Mind

My dog had a sudden, critical illness that required more than one hospitalization through urgent care. Healthy Paws gave me the reassurance that I would have assistance with managing this sudden, unexpected expense. My experience with their customer service and claims process could not have been better. Healthy Paws staff are courteous, prompt and genuinely interested in the health of your pet.

Frustrating experience

My first claim experience with Trupanion wasn't the best and I really don't think I'll keep it much longer. My French bulldog needed an expensive procedure so the rep told me to get a pre approval. Great, I thought, this will speed things along. Well, it didn't quite go like that because she didn't ask me for all the paperwork involved to get the procedure approved. So the day before the surgery I still didn't know they would approve it and if she would have requested all the paperwork involved instead of just sending me a form it wouldn't have been so stressful. Now they're raising my rate and I've only had them for a year and just filed that one claim. When I called to find out why the rep really didn't sound like she knew what she was talking about. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said it would take 2 days for someone to be able to call me back. 2 days? What kind of customer service is that?
