Good, but it can be better
You offer a good service at a fair price. However, many denials are sent "by default" instead of documentation being reviewed. And some items that should be approved, get denied for :miscellaneous: reasons. I have 2 claims under appeal review.

I had previously paid my annual deductible and decided to increase my pets coverage you chose to cancel my policy and start a new policy and charged me the additional full deductible that I had to meet again. And then it takes you for over a week and a half the payout claims that you already have the records for and it's just medication refills

MetLife has been fantastic
MetLife has been fantastic. I cannot recommend this pet insurance any higher than a five star. You do have to pay the bill up front and they will not submit payment to the vet clinic but other than that I have found them to be reasonably priced with exceptional service and prompt handling of my claims. I had two other pet insurances before MetLife but I will not change again.
