We have been with trupanion for over 6 years now and I've always had positive experiences in dealing with them when submitting claims. They are friendly and informative and process claims quickly and without any frustrating set backs. Their premiums may seem a little high but they are worth it. I made the poor choice of going with another popular Canadian pet insurance company for our second dog so I could have lower premiums and have experienced nothing but problems with this other company including unethical practices.

I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance! My dog has ended up in the ER multiple times from swallowing his name tag to multiple bouts with IBS Embrace has always been there to help with payments and direct deposit them right in my bank account. They have been a life saver!

Fast claims processing, excellent customer service. My dog had a fibro sarcoma removed. If I was still with my previous insurance company they would have rejected the claim because I didn't pay extra for cancer coverage. Healthypaws paid nearly $900 on a $1,200 bill. After her surgery Healthypaws emailed me to check on her. My girl is doing great. The lump was completely removed. I am optimistic she will be 100% soon. Love this company.

I recently adopted two kittens from a reputable animal adoption facility in San Diego. I have not had pet insurance before and decided to go with Embrace. All was well until one of my little ones got sick. Needless to say, after many test and evaluating it was not good news. Eventually the diagnosis was FIP - which is fatal in and of itself. I decided to submit a claim for cost and meds; not knowing if I would recoup any amount(s). I promptly rec'vd notifications from Embrace about my approved claim and rec'ved two checks, well within the time frame given. I can't thank Embrace enough - to know that there is some relief and understanding of what pet owners can endure with our furry friends. I have peace of mind knowing that in the event of major illness I have help & support.

I have been with Healthy Paws Insurance for a few years now, and had ran the gamut prior to joining Healthy Paws with other pet insurances that were quite frankly a BIG scam! Healthy Paws has kept to their word according to the policy I chose and paid me out on EVERY claim. I have a very small toy bread that unfortunately ran into some gastrointestinal issues requiring quite a few trips to the ER and a few hospital stays, to the tune of over $5000. Healthy Paws paid out every claim within 2 weeks (at 90% coverage, the policy I chose) with now questions asked. They are very honest, helpful, caring and don't make you wait for your reimbursement. I don't know what I would have done for my little baby if I didn't have Healthy Paws insurance. I highly suggest you research their policies as every situation is different, but I can honestly tell you that you won't find a better pet insurance company!!!

Everything about our experience with Happy Paws has been great. They were very friendly when I called to ask questions about my claim and completed it super quickly once they received my pet's full medical records. My dog had a major surgery on January 18th and I have already received reimbursement checks from Healthy Paws (on the 29th of January) as well as a follow up email to check and see how he's doing. I didn't even get his complete records to them until a couple days after his surgery and it was my first claim. They processed it amazingly quick and had great, friendly customer service too. I would highly recommend them!

For the first time, we had to use this insurance for an emergency room visit and we filed out the claim and received a response in a very timely manner. Unfortunately, we had several additional vet visits and the our vet was able to continue filing this claim for the additional visits.

I have had ASPCA for the 9 years with my miniature pinscher and she has been through a lot the last 3 years with MRIs, ICU care, and lastly knee surgery. ASPCA has done well above my expectations and continue to support my baby Gia. Even the yearly premiums aren't that bad and its worth the investment.
