Quick Payouts

I have had pet insurance before and always cancelled the 2nd year. I did not feel I received my monies worth. Claim submissions were cumbersome and slow. My vet forwards the claim, I receive and e-mail and a short time later a check. Easy. Am so far pleased. Will be coming up on a year soon, and am hoping the premiums will not go out of sight. So far so good and highly recommend.

Wont cover any vet bills

I will never recommend this company to anyone! I called multiple times before I started a policy, what they told me seemed to good to be true. I asked multiple times, whats the catch. Sure enough after paying $50 a month for over a year, I finally had to use them. What a joke. $1200 vet bill that was broken up in 2 vet visits (so I could actually afford to pay it) and Trupanion says it is not the same problem! I called to verify it was indeed the same incident. They then said I need to have my vet email them a letter with all the info. So now I am begging my poor vet to take time out of his practice to email a ridiculous letter because one word was omitted from the issue description. On top of this they have changed my policy 3 times without telling me, resulting in being charged $10 more monthly for the last 7 months. So now I have to fight to not only get my vet bill paid, but reimbursed for the monthly fraud! Please take warning! This company is a scam. I know we all want to do whats best for our loved ones, but this will only stress and hurt you in the end!

Great service, friendly, helpful and quick claims.

Service representatives are friendly and helpful answering all questions.. Filing claims online is very easy and handled very quickly. They were referred to me by a friend. Every other company I spoke to would not insure an older dog.. Thank you PetsBest!!

So far so good

I got embrace insurance on my new puppy the day I brought him home. I had been looking, reviewing, researching different pet insurance since I had decided to get a new Labrador Retriever puppy. I didn't have any insurance on my last Labrador, and paid dearly because he had hd, and was epileptic. I just did a wellness claim on my young pup for neuter, and had questions about a few things. The young lady on the phone was great. Even when I couldn't remember a question she helped me set my mind at easy about what all I needed to do. Now as long as this goofy boy doesn't do something crazy I'm set for a long happy life with him.

Their stellar reputation is well deserved!

Just adopted a lovely rescue pitty three months ago and of course she had a host of issues surface 2-3 months in. THANKFULLY we had the presence of mind to get pet insurance with Healthy Paws before they did. All claims are processed in 2-3 days and the check is in the mail in about a week. They've covered everything from blood tests to medication to allergy testing. I could go on and on but I went with Healthy Paws because of the reviews on here and I'm glad I did, because if not me and my dog would both be living in the streets haha.

Quick and efficient service!

I had my pup in the emergency vet for a bite wound to his ear on a Sunday. I filed a claim and faxed over the invoices the following week and within 4 days I had a response that not only was the check in the mail but they also followed up to see how he was doing. I really appreciated the care, concern and compassion I received from them!

Great insurance

Healthy Paws has consistently and fairly paid out. We have two pugs and recently one had to have back surgery after having a fall. They paid as specified in the contract without hassle. Additionally they normally send out a separate email just to ask us how are pugs are doing. Just another part of their great service. We actually had another insurance but switched to Healthy Paws a few years back specifically because we heard about their customer service and because they provided annual deductible instead of per incidence deductible.

Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance you can buy

We adopted a 5 year old Beagle mix in September, 2013. Because she was a rescue, she had very limited medical records when I applied for the insurance and was thrilled they accepted her. She tore her right CCL in May, 2014 and tore her left CCL in October, 2014, both requiring surgery. In both instances, the claims were processed within 5 days and I had check in hand within 10 days. The bills totaled about $9,000 for the two surgeries and Healthy Paws paid 80%. We feel so fortunate to have this insurance. Thanks, Healthy Paws.

Peace of mind is priceless!

My 4 year old Nina required surgery after being mauled by a 60 lb dog. When I called for preapproval I was greeted with a very compassionate support person and within an hour received a call back with great news that Nina's surgery was approved and everything would be covered at 90% less the exam fee and deductible of $250. Unfortunately my Nina did not survive the surgery. Nina was our second family pet. We did not have Trupanion when we owned our first pet. After having experienced such a tragedy with our beloved Nina, we will never own another pet without having Trupanion on our side. The peace of mind that we had by having Trupanion is absolutely priceless. The rates are very reasonable and the staff is amazing. I have no complaints about how our claim was handled.

Great Customer Service

I was very nervous when my PurinaCare switched to this company. However, they have been very helpful. It does take some time to get claims paid however I always get paid. Also, The chat feature is great to use for questions! Stephanie was very helpful and helped me find a way to lower my bill so it was more affordable. I couldn't be happier with this company so far. They continue to improve their processes and website/access to information. Give them a chance!
