No regrets

Frisco is now 12 years old, and fortunately hasn't had a lot of medical issues. I spent a fortune on vet bills for my previous pooch, and so I bought ASPCA pet insurance as soon as we adopted Frisco at a year old. I've probably spent more on premiums than I have claimed, BUT that's what insurance is: you buy peace of mind....because you never know what's around the corner. I recently claimed for ongoing skin/allergy issues, including surgery to remove two lesions that were benign, and was impressed how quickly the claim was settled. Overall, claims have been settled claims promptly, the ASPCA Pet Insurance web site makes it easy to submit and track claims, and I've found their customer service to be very responsive. Thank you ASPCA Pet Ins!

embraced saved the day (and the dog)

Boston Terrier Petunia has been with Embrace for 7 years. she has had vomiting and diarrhea off and on for years. my vet referred us to Vet specialist to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy. colonoscopy revealed IBS disease which we can now manage appropriately. endoscopy revealed a large 4"x2"x1" thick wad of cotton threads that was pulled from her stomach. shocking. I was tying up a small treat in a clean cotton sock and she was ripping it apart. had no idea she had ingested threads of sock and it was accumulating over time. this was a very expensive procedure. I am a single senior and Embrace paid the claim in record time. we are now hoping to go from every six weeks of vet visits to maybe one or two with a strict new diet and meds. in seven years I have never ever had a problem with a claim from Embrace. staff is wonderful and caring. please consider Embrace if you are contemplating getting pet insurance.

Overall, glad I have it

In the end, I'm really glad to have ASPCA. Submitting my first claim was a little rough because the amount submitted by the vet did not match the amount of the invoices I paid. Calling in helped resolve about 50% of the problem; like any big company patience is important when you are on the phone. The representative told me all the invoice numbers and the amounts so I could track down what was missing. Since I've submitted the claims myself, it has been great. Bob called this morning to check on my pet and offer some encouragement. I was surprised but happy - I've never had my health insurance call me after I visited the doctor! I even had some questions about continuing care and claims now that we have a diagnosis. We have three cats insured for under $100 per month. With one incident, we are seeing a return on our investment.

Embrace Rocks!

Fergi, My English Bulldog, has lameness problems. She gets injections to help her. Embrace pays them promptly each time she goes for an injection.

Really Ended up Paying for itself for this year

I've had the pet insurance since my dog was a puppy (now 3) -- I was going to drop it this year because my dog is about as healthy as they come. But decided to hang on one more year and was glad I did. In one month my dog got giardia AND cut open his paw on something while running and needed 4 stiches and a wrapped paw. A lot of trips to the vet and the pet insurance really came through. My vet processed all the paperwork (I just kept reminding them to submit the claims.) After the first couple of bills went through I started to receive checks from Embrace. No muss, no fuss, exactly what they said they would pay. For this year the pet insurance paid for itself. Not expecting that to happen every year but I do think it gave me a little more peace of mind should something bigger happen. I also liked the fact that after I had my dog's DNA done and he turned out to have 0% Labrador (though the adoption company labeled him a lab mix) Embrace actually reduce my premium to reflect his correct breed AND issued me a refund for the difference for the current year. I thought that was very top shelf of them to do that.

So far wonderful!

The claims process is easy and fairly quick. I make sure that I have a claims form printed when I go to the vet so that it doesn't become too cumbersome for her (if it was she would have to increase her fees to hire someone to fill out the forms) and her office faxes them immediately. I hear via email from Embrace (usually the same day) that they have received them and they are processed within a day or two. I have two dogs covered under this policy. Wish they would cover my older dog as I have to use another company for him.

Happier now with my aspca insurance.

When we first started I was a little upset that they hardly paid us anything for a claim but then I realized about the deductible clause. Since I reached that amount things have been better and we are getting payments back on claims. ASPCA insurance has always been truthful with us and we are glad to have this insurance especially now that our dog is getting older and has a certain problem right now that is a long lasting one I think

3 for 3!

Well, I am back again. My 4 year old Newfoundland had two ACL surgeries last summer. Embrace covered them both (THANK GOODNESS!). Unfortunately, she had a slip on some ice this winter and tore her meniscus. When I got the diagnosis (surgery...AGAIN!) I nearly fainted. Thankfully, not only did Embrace cover it (no questions asked), but the recovery for my dog was much easier this time around. I will continue to recommend Embrace because we are 3 for 3!

WONDERFUL COMPANY

I have 2 border collie/spaniel mixes. I bought embrace when I got them at 7 weeks old (4 yrs old now). I love the company, communication is great and recently one of my dogs has had an autoimmune disease where he has been treated, had to be on multiple medications and frequent follow up at the vet. Embrace has paid all claims. I can't say enough about them! I recommend embrace to any pet owner who asks about insurance.

Quick Payment for Claims

Our 7 year old mixed breed dog Annabelle was diagnosed with rib osteosarcoma, a rapidly growing cancer of the bone. Our claims for her treatments and medications were processed quickly and without error, making it easier for us to continue with treatments without fear of financial difficulty. Pet insurance is something a lot of people don't think about needing. We initially purchased insurance in anticipation of needing it for CCL repair. However, the unexpected cancer diagnosis became our need... and Pet's Best insurance helped make some of the stress a little easier.
