The Pet Insurance that works!

I had tried per insurance years ago with my previous dog and it was a fight to get them to cover anything more than the annual vet visit. WHAT A DIFFERENCE With Embrace!!! Our dog swallowed something and needed surgery and less than 2 weeks after submitting all the necessary paperwork we got our reimbursement check! The process is quick and easy, uploading documents to the website and being able to check in the status online. No black box from Embrace. Love it, and am a true believer!

Well worth it!

I was a bit skeptical about having pet insurance. But, under the guidance of my vet I decided to take a chance and they recommended Embrace. This has been one of the better decisions I have made over the last year. Unfortunately my 6 month old boxer broke his leg playing at the dog park. Embrace has made a tough experience a bit easier with the great expense that this has entailed. There have been zero issues when processing a claim and the staff is ALWAYS on phone call away.

Trustworthy and dependable pet insurance company

When a loved pet suffers a sudden illness, it's stressful enough dealing with eye surgery and navigating through needed treatments and specialists; having a health insurance company that is professional, supportive and positively responsive, makes for an easier and less anxious experience. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is just that; a professional group of caring and responsible individuals whose primary emphasis is the well being of animal pets.I feel fortunate to be enrolled with this distinguished group.

Impressed with Claim Process

I've had Embrace insurance for my Yorkie for several years now. This is the first time the ER Vet bill was more than my deductible, and the entire process was very quick. I filled out everything online and in no time, I had the claim check. Embrace even wrote me to make sure I received it okay. Very pleased with the way my claim was handled.

Peace of Mind

Recently my 7 year old Shetland Sheepdog Lexie had to have lifesaving surgery to remove her gallbladder and a gallstone obstructing her bile duct. The operation was a difficult one which required the referral to a specialty vet near Baltimore. The final invoices totaled more than $6,000. I am so grateful that Embrace was there to process my claims in less than 2 weeks and have the checks in the mail. This has made a very stressful situation less painful. The phone and email contacts with Embrace have been wonderful and helpful. Thank you Embrace for giving my Lexie a 2nd chance in life!!

I have had ASPCA health Insurance for my cockapoo dog for the past year. They have reimbursed me for claims that I have sent in for various aliments . I have found them to be a great pet insurance provider, and would highly recommend them to others.

I'd give it a 0 if I could

Plan period ran January 1-January 1. My dog was diagnosed with severe anemia in mid December. Initial testing showed no causation. They finally did a bone marrow aspiration in January which showed autoimmune disease. The expensive test was not covered because of a clause in the contract "coverage for any illness will not continue into the next plan period". Therefore, even though I paid about $900/year for their fancy Level 4 plan with $7000 in coverage, and my premiums automatically continued into the new plan year, they would not cover the bone marrow aspiration. They denied me before we even had a diagnosis. What good is any insurance plan if the possibility exists that they will only give you 2 weeks (as in my case), to clear up the problem? After many phone calls to customer service, they finally allowed me to purchase a "continuing care" add on, if I paid all of the premiums for 2015 and paid an additional $100 deductible. Did I mention I already paid $900 for the $7000 plan? What a deal. This company is terrible, and the public should know that they do these things. I wouldn't have a problem with a time limit on the duration of coverage for any given problem, but as long as the premiums are paid continually year after year, that time limit shouldn't be factored by the end of the plan period. It's the luck of the draw, and that's not fair.

Love Embrace!

Unfortunately my puppy got sick approximately 6 months after I signed up for Embrace. They paid every claim they were supposed to pay. One vet visit alone was over $10,000 and while it did take them a little bit of time to go through each charge line by line because it was pretty complicated for a week in ICU ~ they paid every penny that they were responsible for. They even covered platelets for her blood transfusions. I really expected Embrace to raise my rates and deny claims with loopholes ~ like another well known company did with another dog I had ~ but they didn't. They had some growing pains in there with all the new people they hired because the company grew fast.... so claims took awhile to handle for a brief period. But all in all ~ they were first class from beginning to end!
