So Thankful for Trupanion

I wanted to get pet insurance for my cat, Nikka when we got her as a kitten but because she would be an indoor cat my husband decided against is. Then, one day Nikka got out of the house without us knowing and she was gone for 8 hours. When I found her she had a broken leg. The vet bill was $2500. Once again I suggested we get pet insurance and my husband reasoned that we would make sure she didn't get out again. Within the same year Nikka required surgery for a blockage caused by a little plastic frog that she ate. That vet bill was $3500. After this my husband thought it might be a good idea to sign up with Trupanion - even though he was certain we wouldn't need it. Recently we had another trip to the vet that ended up costing a little over $2000. My husband is now a believer in pet insurance! I submitted the bill to Trupanion and in under 2 weeks a reimbursement check was in my hand! The staff that we dealt with were caring and efficient. I would recommend this company to eveyone who owns a pet.

Incredible!

I wish I could get health insurance for myself like I have for my dog. She has had to have 2 ACL repair surgeries and now is being treated for cancer. Embrace communication is awesome and they reimbursements are made very quickly. They have covered everything including physical therapy. I have not once needed to followup. The process of submitted claims is seamless and I believe their rates are very reasonable. Of course, I wish I never had to use insurance but could not be happier with the insurance coverage I have. I recommend Embrace to all my friends.

ALWAYS there when I need them

When I rescued Daven from the SPCA he came with 3 months of Trupanion and I continued with it. I knew I was paying monthly for serious problems that could arise. I have also insured my other 2 pets with Trupanion. When Daven developed B cell lymphoma at age 10 Trupanion was there. Daven is now in remission. Trupanion has been nothing but supportive.

So Glad I Insured My 3 Shelter Cats

One of my cats has a condition that was hard to diagnose (saw four different vets). I estimate in six months I have spent five to six thousand dollars. Fortunately the diagnostic testing, meds, surgeries, etc. were all covered at 90%. People laughed at me for insuring my shelter cats, but I have had to make no decisions based on cost. One thing to be aware of, though, is that the veterinary base fee (usually in my case fifty or sixty dollars) is not covered. I'm sure that was in the material provided somewhere, but I did miss it. What is amazing in this day and age is the prompt, courteous and efficient customer service provided by the phone reps. Also, my claim was usually deposited into my bank account within days.

So thankful for healthy paws!

I was hesitant to sign up for pet insurance because I didn't want to pay a monthly fee but after frequent trips to the vet with my baby girl, I decided I better get it and I am so glad I did! Just 4 months after signing up for healthy paws pet insurance, my frenchie jumped off the bed and herniated a disc in her neck and was in immediate pain. I took her to the emergency specialty care center in my town. After meeting with the vet and hearing the care she was going to need and the cost, I cried! I emailed healthy paws about the services she would need (MRI, surgery, hospitalization) while I was still in the exam room and received and immediate caring response that based on her previous health history, it would all be covered! She had surgery on Tuesday, I took her home on Thursday and submitted my claim through the healthy paws app that evening. By Saturday, I had a response that my claim was completed and received a reimbursement check in the mail 3 days later! It was a painless process (for me anyway) and that monthly fee is worth every penny! Healthy paws is a great company and they really do care about your pet...they even reach out and check on your pet to make sure they are recovering well. After hearing of my experience with healthy paws, my parents are signing up their new puppy with them the moment they bring her home!

Grateful for this insurance

We're very glad that we have ASPCA coverage for our two cats - we have had some expensive bills (but what vet bills aren't expensive?)and have received excellent compensation/reimbursement in a very timely fashion. Although premium prices have gone up a lot, it is an expense that we have to afford because our cats are everything to us. Thanks ASPCA Pet Insurance!

Disappointed

This company has denied every claim submitted in the two years I have had them. For one reason or another dispite the vets and specialist contacting them and tell them they were wrong. This company has done nothing but look for reasons not to pay claims.
