Maya is acting like she is 6 when she is 16!

Our little Chihuahua Maya was diagnosed with tooth root resorption syndrome --although her teeth looked normal and she had 2 dental cleanings a year, her immune system was attacking her tooth roots and causing her pain which she hid from us and she had an unusual snuffling problem (reverse sneezing). Thanks to Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic and the fabulous Dr. Crocker this was finally diagnosed with dental X-rays. After two surgeries and 22 teeth removed, Maya is acting like a puppy. Mercer Island also has Trupanion's software which allowed them to submit the claim for us and Trupanion paid them directly, so we only had to come up with our copay and deductible --it was over $9,000 total cost, so it was a big relief to only pay a couple of hundred out of pocket. Thanks Trupanion!

worth the money

Pet insurance is expensive, but it is definitely worth it. My cat's bills have been going up and up, but with this policy, I know that I can cover them. Best part - their reimbursements are fast and fair!

The best overall.

Hi there. I just started insurance for my dog Bailey (who I love with all my heart) and love it. The customer service is top notch excellent and claim services don't take long as little as 2 days and you aren't left to guess as to whether your claims were received. The Best Pet Insurance I've owned.

I have to say I have been nothing but impressed by Trupanion. They are quick, responsive, answer any questions and pay claims with no hassle. I've owned 9 dogs over my years and all had insurance. Trupanion is the best insurance I've ever had. My Spinone pup has had ongoing Colitus and Trupanion has stood with us the whole time. Thank You Trupanion.

Surprising Service !!

I have been fortunate to avoid any claims with my Jack Russell terrier. However she recently had an issue that required some vet visits and blood work. The situation is still open and may require further treatment, but Pets Best Customer Service suggested that I send in the bills I already had so they could start processing them.After submitting my claim I immediately got an e-mail that it had been received. Within 5 days after that I had an explanation of benefits and notice of amount they were paying. Amazing turn around for my reimbursement....wish all insurance companies were this efficient. I am glad I chose this company....they treated me like a valued client, not just a number.

Healthy Paws to the rescue

I never had pet insurance until my daughter recommended Healthy Paws for my new Yorkie puppy. Sure enough, he had a condition that required surgery after only a few months. I submitted the claim, had an immediate response and a reimbursement within a week. They do what they say they are going to do, no questions asked. The process using the app couldn't have been easier.Excellent company, excellent customer service! I highly recommend them.

new with ASPCA Insurance

I insured my beloved dogs --Ramone, GoGo & Eos-- with ASPCA Insurance about 3 months ago. Unfortunately, Eos fell ill and I had to bring her to the vet. I put in a claim for the the services she received with ASPCA. From the get-go, throughout the entire claim process, and ending with receiving reimbursement and a follow up call to inquire about Eos' well-being, I found their system easy to navigate, and each person I spoke with there to be courteous, efficient, and as it seemed to me, genuinely caring about my pups. I am very happy I selected ASPCA Insurance for my pups. I am also happy to report that Eos is doing great!

Waste of money

I was a former ASPCA Pet Health Insurance customer, but cancelled today because all three of my claims were denied. I had to draw the line when my dog's recent visit to the vet (including xrays and treatment) was denied on the basis of being a "pre-existing condition." He had eaten a plastic mouth-guard! How is that a "pre existing condition" and not an accident? When I called customer service to see why this wasn't covered, she said it was considered a preexisting gi problem and that the vet didn't find evidence of a foreign body. This is a lie - our vet has pieces of the mouth guard that Luke vomited up. The other claims that were denied were for an ear infection and conjunctivitis. I had the level 2 plan, which is supposed to cover accidents and illness. I think this whole pet insurance is a scam, and I will let everyone know about my experience.
